Long term investors do not need Bitcoin ETF

The reason why most people prefer Bitcoin ETFs is that they offer exposure to Bitcoin without the need to manage private keys, secure a wallet or worry about the technical aspect of self custody. Fair enough, because someone with little or no knowledge of the technical aspect of Bitcoin can gain exposure it through ETFs.

Mind you, you don't need to understand the technical aspect of Bitcoin before you can own a whole Bitcoin or even a small portion of it. All you need to know is, how to set up a wallet, back up your seed phrase, secure them in a safe place, set up an account on a crypto exchange where you can buy Bitcoin and learn how to purchase. With that little knowledge you are good to go.

Op, see em, you fit no like Bitcoin ETF but no talk say long term investors no need. Because weda you like am or not e dey serve him purpose o. With security vulnerabilities wey dey happen for the space lately, for example the ColdCard security breach, nah why some long term investors sef go dey switch to custodial services like exchange and Bitcoin ETF.

Most investors go through ETF because they'll have a centralized body to run to if something goes wrong. The investor don't take all the responsibilities of owning assets in an unregulated market, and to most of the people in it, ETF is their best choice of ride into a highly volatile market.

Decentralization is one of the best part of Bitcoin . But it comes with a lot of responsibilities , because you’re literally the bank of your asset so any poor handling can lead to lost of  assets . So not everyone want the responsibility so they can choose to invest in ETF , but know this if you are investing through ETF you are not in custody of your asset , ETF are the ones that are in sturdy of your assets . Which quite against the whole idea of bitcoin but still everyone have their own choice to make .

Bitcoin itself encourages people to have control over their money, and it is good for people to own their keys and manage them by themselves. But since Bitcoin ETFs have come to stay, people will make their choice on how they want to invest. No matter how bad Bitcoin ETFs are, people will still prefer to invest through ETFs.

The existence of ETFs indicates the growth of Bitcoin and how it has become an institution, but with experience and time, people will choose for themselves which is the best way to invest. Just like the exchanges, it is very risky for people to leave their holdings in them, but because people take the risk, it doesn't mean they are not supposed to have anything to do with exchanges. All these things exist because of Bitcoin, but people have to make their decisions to follow the right path.

I could remember back then when ETF was making serious waves but now I don't hear so much about that and I have not actually been a fan of ETF because why do i have to share ownership of something with someone when I can own it myself without having to go go through the stress of sharing with people.
I have nothing against ETF but meh, I don't think I want to get into it anytime soon.

People are adopting this style of investing more, especially institutional investors. Companies are investing through Bitcoin ETFs. Because of how many are interested in it, this is why people assume it is one of the reasons why the movement of the Bitcoin market is going in a way that has never happened before. The reason why ETFs were talked about then was because they were new at that time, and it became the topic of the day. People prefer to invest in Bitcoin ETFs because they do not have the responsibility to manage their seed phrase, and some people also think it will help them invest without tampering with their investments.

And secondly, the last statement you just made about Bitcoin ETF as an unregulated market is a wrong perception. Because its regulation varies from one country to another, as there are some countries where the Bitcon ETF is highly regulated, which is what could give some investors the courage to investing huge sum of money.

You got me wrong, I was referring to crypto as an unregulated market stating in my last line that investors wouldn't want to dive into it unless with the availability of ETFs, which is heavily regulated.
