what does ‘No-KYC’ mean to you?

Yeah no documentation required for registration. And standard limit apply. There will be no hassle with withdrawal.

Deterministic Rules. There shall be no hidden rule. And rules cannot be changed during the game under guise of risk assessment.

True On Chain and DEX Casino. Actual no KYC gambling is only possible on smart contract based platform, where you can connect your wallet without needing to sign up and receive instant payout.

Should crypto casinos publish clear KYC thresholds so players know the conditions before depositing, or would that make AML systems too easy to game?

Many casino give excuse that if public limit are provided then scammers will find it easier to engage in money laundering. But this is just a pretext to trap players!

A fixed limit should be mentioned publicly. When any player tries to cash out after making deposit, only to be met with Surprise KYC! Bro, hand over selfie of yourself holding today's newspaper, it’s totally annoyed!

Transparency ensures fair game. If player already knows that limit is X amount then they can decide whether to play there or go directly to DEX/DApp.

Anyway, in short, safest option for players is, never keep large balances on casino with vague KYC terms.

3. What I hate the most are casinos that allow players to sign up, make deposits, play, and lose, but does the screening by way of KYC once withdrawal is requested.
It has become a business tactic for many casinos. I don't want to say all of them, but I believe more than 80% of the casinos we have today will eventually ask you to complete KYC at some point. They use it as an excuse to justify why they are unwilling to pay out your winnings. Casinos often claim to be fair, but when it comes to paying players, most of them suddenly become hostile. They start asking for documents that could put your personal information at risk.

I don't like going through KYC, but with the way the world is becoming, many online services now require it. If you are going to ask me to complete KYC in the future, then there is no need to hide that requirement from the beginning. Just be honest about it.

Unpopular opinion: some users demand total KYC transparency and total anonymity at the same time. Those goals start conflicting once the operator has real AML obligations.

That’s the part most players dislike the most and that’s why we don’t believe any casino that says no KYC again. If they can say they are no KYC and later ask for KYC, that’s honestly not being transparent in any way. It is better from the onset they let players know they will need KYC, then it left for players to make decision if they want to go ahead and register or not than using trickish way just to get customers and at the end leave them disappointed. They always do this mostly during a withdrawal, it just a way of trapping players and leaving them with no choice because definitely most players will not want to leave winnings to casino without providing KYC, especially a big win.

It is kind of contradictory if you think about it. In the end, casinos are supposed to fight money laundering and in order to reach an aceptable level of complymentry, they need to give information about their user/gamblers to regulators and law enforcement; so anonymity is not possible at one hundred percent.
Transparency is easier, but it is something not so many people take seriously when it comes to give their information to the biggest casinos on this ecosystem, transparency and security are taken for granted.

A biggest contradiction would be to have gamblers to ask for non-KYC and at the same time assume the casinos is doing much to prevent money laundering from taking place...  Wink

In our time, I think most gamblers don't think it's a big deal if they submit their kyc to the casino as long as they know that the online casino is regulated due to it's normal
for them to require kyc from their players on their casino platform.

The only thing that's worrying is when they submit kyc and then it turns out that the casino they're going to play online
at is not regulated or illegal, right?
