I don't want to create a website because there are already so many of them. I created a Telegram bot because it's convenient for me, and maybe it could be useful for someone else too.
In open-source parlance, it sounds like an “itch-scratching” project.
And this brings us to the first lesson:
- Every good work of software starts by scratching a developer’s personal itch.
Why focus on the lack of a website? Many websites are scams; to have a website proves nothing. To have just a Telegram bot also proves nothing. It is why people are talking about
escrow
escrow
which you did not address; oh, and
this:a letter of guarantee or anything similar that the client can refer to in the event of an unfulfilled order

PGP-signed for non-repudiation.Or else, I think it would help if you had an established reputation—good enough that people would trust you as a forum escrow—
and PGP-signed guarantee letters.

To scratch an itch is fine, for you and your friends—but why should other people trust you with their money?
If you’re for real, also be wary of what will happen if someone sends you dirty bitcoins, then uses your Tethers to pass AML checks. Bitcoin’s lack of fungibility is very problematic. You’d actually be safer swapping ZEC-shielded or XMR to USDT. Or set up a Lightning channel to accept BTC.
(I don’t use TG. I have no interest here, except that the Internet is bigger than the Web. I would happily use a service with no website, if I had a solid reason to trust it; here, I see none.)
