Have anyone of you seen a 100 percent democratic country since your childhood. I haven't because no country is perfect at all. Some problems are there always. However there are a few countries which aren't perfect but they do care about democracy's, believe in of the people , for the people and by the people and are very close to be called 100 percent like Norway( haven't to share any link Because everybody knew that).
But there are so called Democratic countries having zero percent of democracy like Pakistan( I am myself a resident) but the media is in there control(Establishment) , the elected were jailed while they selected a person of there own. They show the world that they are pure souls but instead they are dictators. Same is the case with north Korea and Russia as well. May Be the procedures are a bit different..
Is democracy just a showoff label for the dictators now ?
Democracy in the dictionary form requires two questions to pass in a test something like this:
1. What percentage of the population individually consent to being part of the government.
2. What percentage of those people may participate and have a voice in their government.
So far as I know, there is no country shown to be more than half the way to democracy when you stack those together. It seems today's governments wouldn't dare ask the big question in the first place, threatening to reveal their true nature.
The big point of dictionary defined democracy is to actually seek consent of the governed. What people actually think of is often not dictionary-defined democracy, but Majority Rule Voting. Big difference! Just because you can vote doesn't necessarily give you a voice, and certainly can't if you don't consent to the system to begin with. People just believe they can consent in their neighbors to their government and that is fine. Well, its not.
