What happens when you don’t have people that share same vision with you about bitcoin around you? Does it mean that you will subscribe to their own perspective about bitcoin? What I think is that, if you are still going to depend on other people’s encouragement in order to get the conviction that you are going to hold your bitcoin and forget about the outside noises, then you are not yet ready for this bitcoin investment. Be a one man soldier, you are only loyal to yourself, that is when you can have this conviction that you will hold your bitcoin even if everyone around you think otherwise. Don’t depend on others, if not the day they change their mind, they will equally convince you to follow suit.

I think you are right, that a person conviction on Bitcoin does not have to rely on whether people around them support that decision or not. But just because someone wants to be around people who have the same beliefs, doesn’t necessarily mean that the person’s conviction about Bitcoin is weak. And I don’t see anything wrong with that.  At least being able to exchange ideas with others who actually understand your goal, can also help you learn and view issues from a different perspective.

What I feel is more important is knowing the reason why you're investing in Bitcoin.  So if you end up finding yourself in a situation whereby those individuals change their thoughts,  you can still make your own choices without blindly following them.

Sticking with people who share the same opinion and goal can be underrated at times. It’s always good to associate yourself with people who are also looking at same direction with you, that way you both can keep encouraging each other and not discouraging yourself.

I have come to a point in life where I do not even ask for people's opinion I do things because I want to do them, because it is right and will favour me, though I am still open to learning something new but in case where people around me have different views of things I find to be good but they see it the opposite, I will just do that which I feel is right and leave them to stick to their own beliefs the fact remains that you can not force people to believe something they find difficult to neither you. At the end everyone is running a different race with different dreams to fulfill so depending on others will not do any good,  just as our faces are different so is our heart.

True bro, having people who share same goal and ideology with you is good cause they'll motivate you to do better but with or without them every Bitcoiner should encourage themselves to meet their targets in future and that's why having conviction is important cause you'll always believe that Bitcoin would do better.
That's enough encouragement that doesn't need external motivation to be successful in holding Bitcoin. Moreover we might all have one goal which is holding longer but how long each person wants to hold is different.
