I give give little chance that Garcia vs Floyd fight would happen. Even if they would have agreed on everything, Floyd will pull something that he likes to change. By looking at age gap, it make me be even more sure that Floyd will never make this fight professional or exhibition. Imho Floyd will do everything to make fight happen but be non-scored, that is how he wont lose or win, but get his money.

Could it be that Floyd has indeed run out of money and is ready to risk his 50-0 record? I believe his ultimate goal is money. I also feel that Garcia is too strange for challenging a boxer who has been retired for a long time and is old. Although there is clearly no official rule prohibiting this issue, it makes me laugh and perhaps both are aiming for money. The betting odds might heavily favor Garcia to win, because their ages and activities are very different. I feel Floyd is still diminished in any way due to his age and long retirement. But strangely, although the schedule is not yet official, the BetOnline site has made bets placing Garcia as the betting favorite -400 against +300 for Mayweather.

He experience financial decline, but I believe he does not run out of money. This is the reason despite of not earning for long time, he can manage to cancel all his past rumored fights.

But if Mayweather decide to take this fight, We can conclude that this time. Maybe he needs money and just decide to risk his record for the seek of millions of earnings. Still I think that's not the case happening here, then I believe that same with his old rumor fights, this match up might not going to happen.

On the link you have shared, I understand that many bettors are in favor with Garcia. Since he's young and still on his prime, while Mayweather is old and probably will not perform the same as before.
