the only way that merit distribution can go round every board is for merit sources to stop joining campaigns because meeting signature campaign quota often distract them from meriting many deserving posts maybe theymos should consider making merit sources a payable task and stop them from joining signature campaigns, not only merit sources but also the moderators so that they can concentrate exclusively on moderating the forum instead of dividing their attention by making posts for signature campaign payments
Is like you are forgetting that these merits sources are humans that have life outside the forum. If you stop them from joining signature campaigns in the forum, will you also stop them from going about their business outside the forum, so they can focus on look for posts to merit. I don’t see how joining signature campaigns will distract merit sources from meriting posts. It’s either the merit sources are not enough, or some boards have more merits sources than others. The most practical solution is to appoint more merit sources in those boards that are under merited. Increase the supply of the demands are getting higher. Asking the merits sources not to join signature campaigns is not the right approach.
