Gambling is supposed to be for entertainment, sometime I wonder why people are so desperate that it turns into addiction without them realizing on time, countless time ,videos and news of how gambling addiction has killed and cause more damage in human has surface but people still don't want learn from others , gambling is not where one can get rich quick unless the universe want to surprise you, sometime it doesn't happen on time ,it takes long, but that doesn't mean it will be the same for every other person.
There is a very subtle yet obvious reason for why people get addicted to gambling. You see, human mind is programmed in a way that it can easily ignore very big red flags when it sees potential benefits coming it's way, and those benefits could be seen through gambling by a lot of people. Even if they read news or watch that so many people got their lives ruined through gambling and didn't get anything out of it, but still, their minds keep telling them that it is not important for you to have the same outcome, and you may actually become lucky one day.
With this mindset, and the hope that it might be their day one day, they keep gambling without thinking of the negative consequences of it. Every bet that a gambler with such a mindset makes, their brain keeps telling them that if they make a few more bets, they might actually hit something good, but we know that as it is not necessary for two people to have the worst results from it, it is also not necessary for two people to also have the best outcome from it. If someone has managed to hit a jackpot, it doesn't mean you can hit it too, because the odds for that are always extremely tiny.
