With the current economy situation sometimes I just wonder whether people are truly making progress with certain things in life or everyone is just learning how to manage whatever struggles they are facing better. There are some people who wake up every morning trying to go to work, improve on their skill, search for different opportunities and everything that is supposed to be done but at the of the day they still struggle to sort out basic needs. Whereas some other persons might just be doing less with no stress but seem to be moving forward and faster in life.
As much as I agree that hardwork is not useless but I don’t think being hardworking alone can make one successful and progress in this life. My question is that what do you think makes the difference between someone who keeps struggling despite working hard and someone who gradually moves forward? Is it discipline or right connection or maybe financial backing, in some cases would it be that we need all this things put together to be able to move forward in life?
The level of hard work someone puts in his daily routine doesn't determine the progress he will make, I understand that hard work is required for progress but the government is making every bit of hardwork seem useless because there is nothing to show for us when the hardship is very high and it's quite difficult for the common Man to survive, the thing is that Nigeria are very good in adapting to every situation they find themselves.
Some persons can be struggling for ages without progressing, it all depends on grace and the connection people has that determines progress, Nigerians are just surviving and not progressing because the salary workers are receiving is very low and the prices of food in the market is very expensive inclusive of house rents so how do we progress when all the hardwork ends in buying of food and trying to survive the economy?, all I see is survival for the time being and not progress.
