Bitcoin can reach $1 million but definitely not by 2030 or 2035, not even in 10 years time. Maybe in the next 20 to 30 years it can attain that milestone and by then the adoption rate must have increased rapidly and some of those factors that slows the market will all subside and the market will begin a prolonged bull run. I know that the government will continue to spread news that will hinder the growth of Bitcoin or pass bills that will influence the market negatively but it won't stop Bitcoin from reaching $1 million, just that it won't happen as we as expecting it too soon.

I agree with your point that Bitcoin will break through the $1 million mark and potentially go even higher in the future. However for this to materialize, the gold mining industry and other forms of resource extraction would essentially have to collapse. people in the world would need to shift all their assets into a digital mining asset that is fairer and more environmentally friendly. In my opinion gold mining should be phased out with people moving their assets into Bitcoin as a form of digital gold since the Bitcoin mining process does not require the destruction of the natural environment. If this transition takes place, then in the future, the price of a single Bitcoin will exceed $1 million.

I doubt that, we could keep going on with gold mining, there aren't that many gold left to mine anyways, and we could even keep on investing other things as well. You need to realise there is inflation in the world, and that means what you could have bought with 100 dollars 50 years ago is not the same as today, and won't be the same 50 years later.

So if we know this, then the guarantee that bitcoin will be a million dollars is not really that impossible; in fact, it is quite possible. I think the best we could do right now is the fact that we should aim at timing it. Because we "know" that it will reach a million dollars, no doubt about that; as long as Bitcoin doesn't crash and go to zero, it WILL be 1 million dollars, that is sure; we just do not know when.

We should get to 500k first before talking about a million dollars, that will take a lot to happen and that's why I am not going to bet on it, there is a possibility that a great reset is coming in that 2030, this is based on an ancient data.

The price seems far for me also but we could use its past data to actually predict what the price of bitcoin might be by then. Bitcoin reaching that amount over that period is relatively short time for bitcoin to achieve that going by historical data. It is more realistic that we witness up to 4 cycles before bitcoin reaches that amount which many will agree to that. Bitcoin is a very powerful cryptocurrency that works on a path, I am certain that we may see more of this in the coming days as that will be a perfect target for many holders currently now will want to take profit on.

Replying to your second question when bitcoin will reach $1million and the question you’ve asked in your topic- Going by the historical trend of bitcoin from inception and how every new all time high is reached after every halving, one can say that bitcoin would reach $1 million or more just above the year you’ve mentioned in your post. If bitcoin always make a 100% increment at every ATH from the previous ATH, then it will take only 3 or more halving events to take place to see bitcoin reach that amount. This is just a prediction based on the overview of its development as other factors can happen that may delay it reaching at that time or could even happen before that time.

Past numbers for the 1/2s get worse by % of increase.

Let's argue

 no 1/2 high was near 40 for a bit

First 1/2 high was near 1200 for a bit or 30 to 1 or 3000 percent

Second half high was near 20,000 for a bit or 16.5 to 1 or 1650 percent

Third half high was near 69,000 for a bit or 3.45 to 1 or 345 percent

Fourth  half high was near 126,000 for a bit or 1.9 to 1 or 190 percent

So fifth half high will be under 200,000 that is 2029 under 180 percent this is generous based on huge drops in prior percent jumps

Sixth half high will be under 299,999 that is 2033  under 150 percent this is generous based on huge drops in prior percent jumps

7th half high will be under 399,999 that is 2037 under  135 percent this is generous based on huge drops in prior percent jumps.

So if you want to be hopeful maybe 400k plus in 2037 1 million simply will not happen quickly.

Since the post is speculating about the price of bitcoin, I think it fits the speculation board. We have seen bitcoin discussions that are price related being discussed here. Op is talked about bitcoin price getting to $1m by 2030-2035 those are speculation.

Everything is just purely a Case of speculation because there are different factors that contribute to the price of Bitcoin growth in as much as Bitcoin price is driven by demand and supply. So irrespective of the comments that you receive here no one can accurately tell you what the price of Bitcoin will be in 2030_ 2035.

For me what's important is that how much Bitcoin you can save in the next 10 years or so. So that if we see that magical numbers then we might be already set for life by that time. So don't concentrate on how big the price will be in the future, but how big you can fill your wallet.

We can use past data to make a call, but keep in mind past performance does not guarantee future results. Markets change over time, and what moves price isn't the same from one cycle to the next. Bitcoin does not follow some fixed path either. So we can't just assume whatever happened in previous cycles is gonna repeat itself.

Making Financial decisions based on assumptions can be be a mistake because the market doesn't at any point respect our assumptions neither is it even aware of it, although calculated assumptions could sometimes become the actual reality of the day, but this isn't a reason to move based on assumptions because most times it never gets to happen the way you have assumed. like in the case of Bitcoin, one thing is very sure, it most definitely will get to the $1m price mark, but how long it will take before it gets there is what we are yet to know and something we cannot also assume. It may take some more decades and it may not, but all of this shouldn't be a grounds for financial decisions as it may not happen the way you have expected it should happen.

2035 means 7 years from now. With the new generation also picking up momentum, and bitcoin is going to be enough for them, I am sure enough people will be here and watch this. Bitcoin is going to touch a $1 million historic mark with bang because it's going to be a milestone that has never been on cards in the long run due to its nature and volatility, but still it's staying and done.
I never argue about this; death is always guaranteed, and I have no alternative but currently enough people in the community.
