Speaking of time, maybe it's too fast if targeting a maximum in 2035, because bitcoin needs approximately $18.5 T from the current capitalization of $1.5 T, thirteen times the growth that needs to be achieved because Bitcoin already has 20 million more coins circulating in the market now, this requires fresh funds from new markets or new money entering the market within the next 10 years, in my opinion this does not make sense in terms of market growth, we can see gold which is in 31T takes hundreds of years to reach it, Bitcoin can reach $1 million it may just be time in my opinion is not so simple.
I'm also not saying all new printed money will flow into bitcoin, and I'm saying bitcoin as an alternative storage of money for some people, which of course I'm also considering how people would store their money in another basket, therefore saying "alternative".
I don't think money is going to be a problem in bitcoins. Fresh money will always flow as mass adoption is in picture. Every other person wants to invest in bitcoins but are just not able to as of now. Soon, times will change for them and they will slowly start investing in bitcoins which brings fresh money. Also, let's not forget the institutions that are showing great interest in bitcoins. Institutions itself can bring a lot of fresh money in which will eventually increase the price as well. Bitcoins are mined at a very slow rate now but the money flowing in is big. This is only increasing the demand and this will continue which is only going to inflate the price for bitcoins.

I was already thinking that 2035 is a really long time because it is almost close to a decade. I think that is still enough time for bitcoins to reach $1 million. In a single bull run, bitcoins can reach the peak which is 2 to 5x multiplied to the current ATH. With the current ATH, even if bitcoins double down in the next bull run, we are to cross $200,000.
Now, it depends on how many bullish cycles we would actually see before 2035. If there are only a few, yes bitcoins will still struggle to reach $1 million level by that time. I am bullish for long term but I do not have any specific target in mind for say. I am confident that the price will continue rising which will anyhow fight inflation so I would be with bitcoins irrespective of the levels.
From 2021 to 2025, 4 whole years, BTC went from $69k to $126k. That's only around 1.8x. Even if it keep that pace, it'd still take another 14-16 year to hit $1m. But do you really think BTC can keep growing at that rate? I have my doubts, tbh . The bigger Bitcoin gets, the harder it become to maintain same percentage growth . That is something we need to accept. A decade is a long time in a person's life . But when you are looking at economic cycles or the long term growth of an asset with a marketcap in the trillions . It's still just one stretch of a much longer journey .

In as much as we would all like to see Bitcoin reach a million dollars, unfortunately this happening can offset alot of things..like breaking the fiat system that has a central power like the central bank controlling it.. and with crypto security still a grey area as more hacks are being recorded regularly than ever before maybe because of AI advancements.. and when we put all this together, sorry the world isn't ready for 1BTC= 1 mil.

The yes and no answers to these three questions that you answered yourself could be my answers too. I'm just waiting for what I predicted and all this time I'm just enjoying every moment of how the market works. My only task is to be patient and wait and try to make my Bitcoin amount increase slowly until all that happens. If I was here at the beginning, I was curious, maybe it's different now. I am more relaxed watching everything that happens and no longer shaken by falling market conditions. In fact, I welcome it when market prices fall.

Bitcoin reaching a million dollars is dependent on global demand, adoption, regulation and the confidence of investors. What we are to do is to try to conduct a possibility test not probable but actual outcomes. Take:
Scenario 1(Bullish Scenario): This is a case where bitcoin reaches the million mark due to institutional investors significantly increasing their investments and bitcoin now becomes digital gold.
Scenario 2(Moderate Scenario): Bitcoin may continue to grow in value but don't get to the million dollar mark because of competition, slower adoption or changing market condition.
Scenario 3(Bearish Scenario): Government can impose strict regulations, or investors lose confidence due to security against bitcoin or better alternative.
This is simplified here but the truth is bitcoin reaching $1 million is highly conceivable but also highly uncertain. I'll separate all these in to three questions.
1) Can Bitcoin reach $1 million. Yes 2) Will it reach $1 million. Nobody knows 3) Should someone assume it will reach $1 million when making financial decisions? No.
It is going to reach 1 million and go even higher, I think. But I am making this opinion based on the facts of market scarcity and the high demand. Sure, this could change anytime but I always go with what seems most likely. Does it seem likely that tomorrow an asteroid hits the earth and all life ends? No. So I will operate on the assumption that tomorrow will be another day just like today. And I feel safe enough to bet on that with my money. Same with Bitcoin. I am confident of Bitcoin going to $1 Million.

Sure, we invest in Bitcoin with optimism, because the volatility makes it difficult for us to know how the price will move. But 2023-2035 is a long way to go, perhaps, there will be enough significant growth. However, HODLing has always been advised, thus DCAing will just be good. With an optimistic mindset, we keep buying and HODLing. But with the present situation at hand and how the market is going, it's going to be green I'm coming years. Bitcoin will go very high, but I can't be sure of the actual price by the estimated years of this thread.

It is going to reach 1 million and go even higher, I think. But I am making this opinion based on the facts of market scarcity and the high demand. Both of these things can change. In theory, the scarcity could be changed in the Bitcoin protocol, but realistically, there will never be a consensus for such a change because it would be like shooting oneself in the foot. In other words, it’s extremely unlikely. High demand, on the other hand, can indeed change. In fact, in recent years, Bitcoin has seen much less demand than we expected, despite ETFs and institutional adoption. A lot of speculative capital is flowing into AI, and we don’t know what the future holds in that regard. Sure, this could change anytime but I always go with what seems most likely.
Does it seem likely that tomorrow an asteroid hits the earth and all life ends?
You're comparing apples and oranges—it's much less likely that an asteroid would wipe out life on Earth than that demand for Bitcoin would fall.

We have not see $200k yet and you are talking about $1 million, for this price $1 million to come to pass it will take some years before the price of bitcoin will touch million and it will be very difficult for some bitcoiners to hold their bitcoin till the price touch market, we have seen many bullish season but no one have touch $200k but before 2030 to 2035 it will definitely touch $200k above and it will convince many investors and holders to show more interest on bitcoin holding because they know that the price will continue increasing to break into another new price that will attract more buyers to buy more bitcoin against future.

Predicting the future price of Bitcoin is certainly not entirely accurate. We must consider the fact that if the global economy worsens, investment will suffer.
Bitcoin does have an advantage due to its limited supply, but we don't know whether its price will reach $1 million in the future.
But I believe Bitcoin will experience many important periods in the future. Perhaps one reason many BTC will disappear from circulation is the death of their owners. Let's hope for a higher price in the coming years.

You're comparing apples and oranges—it's much less likely that an asteroid would wipe out life on Earth than that demand for Bitcoin would fall. You are right. Maybe I should have used a different, less extreme comparison as an example, but basically what I mean is that we need to weigh the probabilities and make our decision based on that. From my own research, the odds seem better for Bitcoin going up than going down, in the long term. Also about AI, does it not seem like we have gotten to the point where we as investors have realized that we have over-invested into data centers and such? Data centers seem to be scaling down and the AI investors are already looking for other places to put their money. In fact, todays dump kind of highlights this, I think: Bitcoin erases post-election gains as Wall Street selloff triggers over $1 billion in crypto liquidationsBitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies erased their post-election gains on Thursday as a sharp selloff in U.S. technology and AI stocks spilled into cryptocurrency markets, triggering more than $1 billion in leveraged position liquidations over the past 24 hours.

If someone has to even predict Bitcoin's price in next bull run, I expect the prediction price should be around $300K, not $1 million. Reaching $1 million will not be easy for Bitcoin. The kind of money that will need to flow into Bitcoin to push its price that high will not be a small amount, and I don't think that level of adoption is coming anytime soon.It is very possible for Bitcoin's price to reach $1 million in the future, but not by 2030, in my opinion. I think some people are not considering what that means. Bitcoin would have to do more than 10x from its current price to reach $1 million. Imagine what it would take for Bitcoin to reach $1million, It would be better for those having that kind of imagination should just stop that.

Although no one knows for sure whether Bitcoin can reach $1 million or not, but if we look at its history and future potential, I believe that Bitcoin reaching $1 million is only a matter of time... It might take longer than we expect or it could be faster... The market is so unpredictable, but growing adoption and increasing recognition as a store of value, that makes Bitcoin's position remain strong.. This is not only about institutional investors significantly increasing their investments, but more than that, this is also driven by individuals and even countries who make it their strategic reserve which in turn pushes its value even higher.

In General, the assumption of bitcoin reaching $1million is predictable and not certain, there’s no guarantee the market will reach this level during 2030 or 2035. Both 1 and 2 questions are similar, will bitcoin ever reach $1million? Yes, it might take longer time before getting to this level though I don’t advice anyone using this prediction as a means to bet their funds on bitcoin waiting for when the price will reach $1million range.

I'm skeptical even about your $300k, never mind $1m in the next bull run or by 2030. In the last bull run , BTC didn't even do 2x over its previous ATH , and $300k would take a 2.5x from the $126k top. That's not an impossible target, but I'd say it's pretty ambitious , especially when Bitcoin's growth has been slowing with each cycle. We can't just look at Bitcoin's past gains and assume it'll keep growing at the same pace going forward , imo.

It is true that the price of Bitcoin will reach $1 million but it is very difficult to say when or after a few years. This situation is being created in such a way that in the current administration you will notice that the price of Bitcoin is gradually increasing, but for this it is possible for us to hold Bitcoin at a long-term rate if we have patience. In this position, the price of Bitcoin will reach the target of improvement but we have to increase our Bitcoin investment over time, the more Bitcoin investment we can make, the more profit we will have. So for our future purposes, it is better to hold Bitcoin for a period of 10 to 12 years.

From my own research, the odds seem better for Bitcoin going up than going down, in the long term.
We agree on that, but we might be wrong. Whether or not there has been excessive investment in AI, and whether there is a bubble in AI companies—as there is in the tech sector in general—is a matter of debate, but today's market decline is due to the victory of the Democrats, who want to halt projects for data centers and similar AI-related.

Yah, for sure majority of us are going to say yes. Just imagine when Bitcoin started, it's not even $1, and right now, we have seen it going as high as 6 digits. So there is really a good chance that in the future, it can reach that 7 digits. But no one really knows, we all know that it is a speculative asset and so we don't know how it will go. Maybe before 2035 or perhaps after that. One thing is for sure though, if we have this kind of prediction, then the best approach is to continue to accumulate so that when that time comes, then we have built a generational wealth.

Seems like you answered all your questions, OP.
One thing I should add though, is that in the current state of affairs BTC reaching $1M might end up not being that much of a profit. We'll have to consider what dollar is worth in terms of purchasing power. Maybe when it's at $1M it won't get you significantly more real goods than when it was at $120K in 2025.
You are actually talking in terms of inflation, but it is necessary to know that inflation and digital asset like Bitcoin doesn't grow at the same rate , so Bitcoin will always hedge against inflation. Besides, from the present price of Bitcoin $1M from here means about 13x profit or there about which is a significant profit if I may say. In addition, it also depends on the amount of money invested, and assuming you are able to invest in Bitcoin in it's present price let's say with about $1M in this 2026, and Bitcoin reaches the price of a million dollar by 2025, it means your portfolio will boost to an astonishing profit of $12M-$13M which is a huge amount of profit considering the amount invested. However Bitcoin reaching this amount by 2030 is a speculative price projection, and not actually backed with certainty.

Let's not be too forward with bitcoin performance, instead we can choose to go along with the price performance steadily, there is height and they see that bitcoin can make it to a million dollars but we cannot be specific on when this is going to happen, everyone has always been positive with the market performance and this is where we keep spectating to see how it is going to appear anytime, just as the way it has always been consistent in time past.
No one knows when it exactly will be reached but these speculations of how high and price they're saying won't be stopped. Long term holders don't have any problems of waiting for a long time, we've done that and can do it easily. Whilst for those who are new to bitcoin, they'll have to be patient because if they don't have the patience that holding requires. I'm sorry to them but they're likely to sell at an early phase and price that won't be satisfying per se. I agree that patience is a virtue. Particularly for new investors who have yet to have a full Bitcoin bull run. But I believe we should distinguish between what's possible and what we should expect to achieve by the end of a certain period. In this case a year. Long term investors may be fine to take a wait and see approach but must also have sensible expectations and know that risk is present. It's more important to predict a target than have a plan that they. Can follow when prices are going up and down.

Whatever we may think of the bitcoin price we should always know that the price may likely not hit that price as we projected because this past halving people where thinking that it would break out something around 200k to 500k but it was shocking that we didn’t gained that price range were the price of bitcoin finally landed at 126k plus, if this same sequence continues we may not likely see the price doubling this time. Of course bitcoin is a speculative asset were people won’t know the future price of bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies, somehow, it’s like a blind investment but only being optimistic about the market that something differential will certainly happened in the space that is why people usually projects for longer time investment since only through long time investment that people would see their profits.
