I do not think some people will not mind promoting gambling if they are earning high amount of money from the promotion. I am not referring to just this forum, I am also referring to influencers and all those people that have many followers on social media. There are many of them that are not gambling, but they can promote gambling. They are seeing money from the promotions and that will not change their thinking so far it is legit.
There are people to whom money isn't that important, and to whom their core belief takes precedence over money. Have you not seen folks who turn down big contracts just because they're not comfortable with what it entails? Based on that, I'm very positive that there are individuals who as a result of their belief may not support gambling in any form, whether legit or nopt.
