What is coming

Xendris is building two things that are designed to work together:

Xendris Exchange: a spot exchange with an order book, instant swaps, liquidity pools and community faucets. It is in beta testing now.
Xendris Chain: our own Layer 1 blockchain, built on the Cosmos SDK, that runs both Ethereum-style smart contracts and Rust smart contracts compiled to WebAssembly. It is in active development.

This is a pre-announcement. A full [ANN] with the whitepaper, specifications and launch details will follow. If you want to be there before everyone else, the place to be is our Discord.

Xendris Chain: two smart-contract worlds, one network

Most chains make developers pick a side. Solidity developers go to EVM chains; Rust developers go elsewhere. Liquidity, users and tools end up split.

Xendris Chain is built so they do not have to choose.

EVM-compatible. Deploy Solidity contracts and use the tools you already know: MetaMask-style wallets, familiar RPC methods and the existing Ethereum developer toolchain.
Rust smart contracts via WebAssembly. Write contracts in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly, for safety and performance. Developers coming from Rust-based ecosystems such as Solana can build with the language and skills they already have.
Built on the Cosmos SDK. A modular, proven framework behind many application-specific blockchains.
One home for both. Solidity and Rust developers build on the same network and share the same users.

The chain is in development. Specifications, tokenomics and dates will be published in the full announcement. Nothing here is final.

Xendris Exchange: in beta now

The exchange is already running and being tested. Here is what our beta testers are trying out:

Spot order book with limit and market orders (Good-till-cancelled, Immediate-or-cancel, Fill-or-kill)
Market orders protected by a price collar, so a thin book cannot fill you far from the market
Live order book, trades and candle charts from 5 minutes to 1 day
One-click Instant Swap with the price impact shown before you confirm

Earn and community

Liquidity pools: add both sides of a market and earn a share of its trading fees
Community faucets: anyone can fund a faucet with coins for others to claim, and every user can claim from up to 3 faucets a day
Fixed Savings for USDT and USDC (coming soon)

Deposits and withdrawals

Multi-chain support being tested on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Solana
Every customer gets their own deposit address, with a QR code
Saved withdrawal addresses, and a clear history of every deposit and withdrawal

What makes Xendris different

1. One ecosystem, not two separate projects.
The exchange and the chain are built by the same team to work together. The exchange is where the chain's community starts.

2. Security is built into the core, not bolted on.

Exact, double-entry accounting. Every movement of funds is journalled twice and the books are continuously checked to balance to zero. No floating-point numbers ever touch a balance.
Signed internal messages. Every service that moves money signs its messages cryptographically, and every receiver rejects anything forged or unsigned.
Hot and cold wallets. The hot wallet only holds what withdrawals need; the excess moves to cold storage. Signing keys are kept in a secrets vault, not in the code.
Withdrawals checked twice. Each withdrawal is re-verified against the ledger before it is signed, within per-coin limits.
Account protection. Two-factor authentication, required for withdrawals, plus a recent login before moving funds.

3. Honest numbers.
Rates, fees and price impact are shown before you act, and our previews round down, never up. If something is not live yet, we say so.

4. Built in the open with the community.
Beta testers are already shaping the product. The next round of features and the chain's testnet will be shaped the same way.
