I've seen content creators who are advertising traders that people must copy. They're not perfect but their winning rates are high and they've earned millions.

While that can be some sort of PR but, if it there are whales who never made mistakes in their trades, it's BS.

All make mistakes and wrong predictions even backed with analysis, I think that there's always someone who's good enough to be considered and yet still commit mistakes and in result to losses.

OK, I'm pretty sure (almost) everyone lost money during 10/10.

There is not a single person I know of who made money on October 10 last year, Binance and other exchanges included.

By that logic, what kind of nonsense are they saying? It is statistically impossible to predict the actions of the market at all times, because it is quasi-random!

While discussing amount friends, one among us who is always updated (up to the minute) on fundamentals and economic news made a statement that "a whale who has never been wrong just placed a long on BTC and ETH" apparently, this billionaire has never been wrong in all the times my friend has been watching his trades.

This made me wonder, is there such a thing as a trader who has never been wrong? Does that even exist? Is this a form of insider trading or are certain persons so rich that they get access to tools and information that the general public aren't privileged to?

You are vouching for someone you don't know in real life? Even someone who you live with can have two identities without you knowing, do not trust humans, you have been warned.

Have you ever think that the whale can have other trading account and address they use elsewhere?
Do you not know that becoming an expert in trading takes a lot of failure and mistake?

How can you say that someone is never wrong in trading? Do you know how many whales got hit when the market dump last year? Where everyone was blaming Binance for it? It's impossible.

Essentially it is impossible to correctly predict the market movement at all instances.

How it can be done is by not reporting the wrongly done prediction and keeping only the good predictions for the public to see and drool over.

The people who claim to do be doing so will always try to scam the ones who believe them. Either they will tell about shitcoins or ask investors to put money to them.

Maybe we can say that whales always have the advantage as investors especially in this type of investment in the crypto space but that doesn't mean they don't make mistakes

Never wrong, that's so strange thing to say. How do we even define a whale that has never been wrong? Has he been in trading for over a decade? For 5-6 years? Or how long? I ask this because if I'm a whale but I haven't been in trading for a long time or I've traded only here and there over years, then I'm not really someone who has never been wrong because I don't have a big experience. One successful trade can make me never been wrong guy but it doesn't mean that just one trading is enough to label me that way, even though technically that's true.

By the way, there is no trader that has never been wrong, that's simply impossible.

I don't believe everything I hear online because I know that content creators will shill for these trading signals and whales for a fee, they make newbies to feel like trading is very easy meanwhile majority of all the loses are not made public. People can do anything online to get traffic and to get paid, it is best for new traders to look for genuine trading mentors who can guide them without sugarcoating trading.

For a whale or their shillers to say that they have never experienced any loses in trading is very hard to believe, claiming to have minimal loses is understandable but not encountering any loses should be viewed with suspicion. I wonder what such whale hopes to achieve by sharing such information even if it is true which I doubt, words like that is what misleads newbies to assume that trading is very easy.

Survivorship bias. We hear about the whale who was right ten times in a row, not about the hundred who got liquidated.

Funny thing: when I looked at Binance's top-trader long/short ratio over several years, it actually worked better as a contrarian signal. When the biggest accounts were heavily long, price tended to fall over the following weeks. Not always, but often enough to notice. Following whales blindly looks like a bad plan to me.
