SpinelMiner is a GPU miner for Pearl (PRL) on AMD Radeon cards, written from scratch for RDNA4.
Measured speed (RX 9070 XT + RX 9060 XT rig, --benchmark, all shares verified):
RX 9070 XT: ~139–140 TH/s (−50 mV undervolt; ~135 TH/s at a 300 W power limit)
RX 9060 XT: ~70–71 TH/s
Pools tested live (stratum, TLS where offered): HeroMiners, Kryptex, PearlFortune, LuckyPool, AlphaPool. Failover (-o repeated), solo mining through a pearl-gateway (--solo).
Platforms
Linux: one package, no ROCm install needed — only the amdgpu kernel driver (kernel 6.14+ for RX 9000). Runs on glibc 2.28+.
HiveOS and mmpOS custom-miner packages.
Windows (uses the HIP runtime from the AMD Adrenalin driver).
Features: JSON stats API (--api-port), temperature limit, per-GPU power-spike limit, SOCKS5 proxy, --config JSON file, log file, per-GPU PCIe traffic counter (it works fine on x1 risers: under 0.01 MB/s per GPU).
Other AMD GPUs (RDNA3/3.5, RDNA2/1, Vega, CDNA): kernels are included but not yet validated on hardware. Every GPU runs a bit-exact self-test at startup; a kernel that fails is never used. Reports from these cards are very welcome (--kernel-report report.json).
Developer fee: 1% of mining time by default (adjustable upward with --donate, minimum 1%). It runs as a short window on the developer's pool; your own shares never go to the developer. Details in the README.
Privacy: no telemetry unless you enable --telemetry (off by default; what it sends is listed in the README).
