A different approach to cryptocurrency mining: Proof of Scan (PoScan).
Numen Network introduces a mining algorithm based on the mathematical analysis of three-dimensional geometric objects, offering an alternative to traditional hash-based Proof of Work systems.
How Does Proof of Scan Work?
Miners perform mathematical computations by analyzing the geometric properties of 3D objects and extracting spectral features. These computations are used in the block production process and can be verified by the network.
Geometric Computation: Mathematical analysis of three-dimensional objects.
Verifiable Work: Computational results that can be independently verified by the network.
CPU Mining: Mining using computer processors.
GPU Mining: Mining using compatible graphics cards.
Open Source: Publicly accessible node and miner source code.
The key difference of PoScan is that its computational process is connected to 3D geometry rather than relying exclusively on conventional hash calculations.
This does not mean that mining directly performs commercial 3D modeling tasks. Instead, it introduces a different computational approach to blockchain consensus.
Solo Mining and Pool Mining
Numen supports two mining methods:
Solo Mining
Run your own node and mine independently. If you successfully discover a block, you receive the corresponding block reward.
Pool Mining
Combine your computational power with other miners and receive a share of mining rewards according to the pool's distribution system.
Both approaches allow miners to participate in securing the Numen blockchain.
