The way you are speaking and the emotions behind your statement here, it is very obvious that you are speaking from a place of sentiment, because it baffles me that you are ruling out  the chances of PSG when they have already proven to be the best team so far in this season uefa champions league. Just look at the way they blew aside Manchester City and Barcelona, was that by luck?

It might look a bit early for fans but for the player, as long as the last ballon d'or has gone, the next thing is to be sure they are getting everything right going forward in every game so as to increase their chance of winning it. as things stands, the two names we can still talk about is lamine yamal and kelian mbappe because they came close to winning the just concluded one and still remain the best of the other available players that are worthy o winning the award.

This is just the real truth about this, because it's too premature to be concluding that mbappe is going to win the ballon d'or because it's just too early for that discussion. Injuries can still derail his season and his form may deep from here, or real madrid may struggle real bad from here which might impact his chances of winning the ballon d'or negatively, so it's just too early to be making any conclusions when it's very obvious that the season is just getting started.

I know that by the end of May next year, a new name will get into the mix aside mbappe and yamal, so let's not be too faster than we should be.

Meanwhile, I love how people just talk about a certain player like others are not trying their best at all. Mbappe should have already been on, maybe one or two balon d'Ors, and probably two UCLs by now if he wasn't too impatient on his former club. I know it's a controversial statement because some people say the club had to let all the star players go as they would have never won a single trophy with that squad.

This ain't the 1950s anymore man. Right now, Ballon d'Or or Golden ball or anyhow you want to call it ain't an European award anymore. It ain't also a young player award, which means that you can be in any age bracket and from any club and nationality and still win it

And if you think having eight goals in his eight or seven appearance at world cup is a bad performance, then I don't have anything to say to you again.
