Hello,

Since the meta thread discussing about Playw3 "Be the boss" ANN threads has been closed (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5597932.0), I wanted to open this topic to clarify my situation, as I was unable to participate in the previous discussion (i just didn't know abou that topic here).

I would like to explain my approach from the beginning.

Before launching my ANN thread in the Gambling section, I did my due diligence to ensure compliance with the forum rules. I invested in a Copper Membership and spent time preparing professional graphics to welcome users. When reviewing the guidelines, my understanding was that while direct referral links are prohibited, using a dedicated subdomain was acceptable, especially since many established casino projects utilize subdomains or tracking links for their campaigns.

However, following the discussion and the subsequent removal of these threads by the moderators, it is now clear that the forum interprets this specific setup as a form of affiliate/referral spam rather than an independent operation.

While I accept the moderators decision, I started this thread to better understand where the exact line is drawn. Since I invested funds into the Copper Membership in good faith, I want to ensure that my future formatting and promotional structures strictly align with the forum standards. Any constructive feedback or guidance from experienced members would be highly appreciated.

Regards.

In the meantime, I wrote to the CMO of Playnance to request official authorization to manage an ANN thread on their behalf.

The rule of the gambling board is one thread for one site only, which also means one ANN thread for X casino. Those posted threads that was reported and removed falls to Playw3, license is from  PlayW3, deposit and withdrawals are made by PlayW3 as well, so there should only be one ann thread for that casino on that board.

Yes, I see now that the one is left: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5584017.0
The moderator simply left the first thread. The simplest solution.
There are only three posts in this thread. Since this thread has been designated as a general one for everyone from PlayW3, I wonder if I could post the opening post from my own ANN thread as the fourth post.  Roll Eyes

This thread has also been deleted. It seems, therefore, that I have no other option but to obtain authorization from PlayW3/Playnance to represent them on Bitcointalk. Or maybe someone have some other suggestions?

I don't think there's any other advice, unless you work with him and post a site accordingly. If you've finally cooperated with him, you can just include an affiliate link in your signature or avatar and text.

Your previous attempt, in addition to violating the rules of the forum. I think the attempt is also indicative of plagiarism, because you are trying to duplicate a gambling site.

To be honest, I knew this was a gray area. The premise is that I operate essentially as an affiliate. I accept the moderators' decision, even though I still disagree with it.
Have you ever seen anyone actually verify the identity of a person creating an ANN thread in the Gambling section? If so, please tell me how that process looks.
I’m asking in advance because, if I were to get authorization from the decision-makers at the parent company, how do you think they should go about confirming that they have granted me the right to represent them?
Some users would probably want this confirmation to appear on the casino's main page. Well, I'm sorry, but that's not going to happen - no casino puts that kind of info on their homepage. However, I genuinely want to satisfy the community's standards. Let me know what kind of proof would satisfy you and the rest of the community.

The only thing that comes to my mind is an official announcement about this on their official social media profile.

Is it fine for community, or are there perhaps rules that we don’t know about yet?
I keep hearing "rules are rules." So, tell me: how am I supposed to provide proof, and how do you verify it?
I just want to be fair

Even if that thread was not deleted by a moderator, you must know about two forum rules written in Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]
Each of your posts as announcement in a service announcement thread is considered as a bump, an update, and there are rules (above) for such posts. Old bumps need to be deleted too.

If your thread has only your posts (serve as service updates) without other posts of forum members, you must self delete your previous update posts.

You can represent whatever company you want for all anyone cares. Just don’t use your role as an excuse to spam your affiliate link and don’t break forum rules.

Other casinos aren’t using subdomains as a way to create many redundant topics. You can add tracking parameters to measure the effectiveness of a campaign in the first post of an announcement topic and in your signature. Subdomains that serve the same purpose as ref links should only be used in signatures and in your profile details. Outside of that, it will probably be considered spam.

I think you didn't understand the idea. It doesn't matter who starts the thread, what matters is that there's only one thread per casino.

If someone has already created an account in the casino's name, and I've already opened an ANN, then there can't be another thread.

If you want to be their official representative, talk to them and start making the posts on their behalf. You can't have two open threads, though.

No specific proof is required to manage a topic; you just can't have two topics about the same ANN.

I will say here, will you benefit from opening a new ANN thread even with permission from them as an official representative?

I don't think so, because you already said that you work with affiliate marketing yourself, even if you open a new ANN thread, you won't be able to do affiliate marketing there. Doing this will just be a waste of energy for you, but here it will be different if you make a separate contract with that casino just for ANN thread management.

I think you don't have to provide any extra proof, you can just honestly declare in your ANN thread with permission from them that you have officially created the ANN thread on behalf of playw3 but of course remember that referral links cannot be used.

And you don't have to worry about verification here, the forum members can verify themselves by going to playw3's support or contacting their staff.

I am very well aware of this rule, and I adhere to it very scrupulously. But thank you for the reminder, it’s important to follow the rules.

I’m asking in advance because, if I were to get authorization from the decision-makers at the parent company, how do you think they should go about confirming that they have granted me the right to represent them?

I am far from wanting to break the forum rules; quite the opposite. I want to ensure that I do not break them. Hence my questions.

This aligns with what I had checked earlier, it’s great that we’ve cleared this up. Thank you.

I think you didn't understand the idea. It doesn't matter who starts the thread, what matters is that there's only one thread per casino.

If someone has already created an account in the casino's name, and I've already opened an ANN, then there can't be another thread.

What happens if a casino doesn’t have an ANN thread yet, but someone else impersonates the casino and creates one? If an official representative of the casino discovers that someone has opened a thread on their behalf - before they could do so themselves - is there nothing they can do, other than just accept it and leave it as is? That is the question that I am looking for answer.

If you want to be their official representative, talk to them and start making the posts on their behalf. You can't have two open threads, though.

No specific proof is required to manage a topic; you just can't have two topics about the same ANN.

Of course, there cannot be two ANN threads for a single casino. I have already learned this the hard way. My question is: how can I prove that I am a representative of the casino? Or, to put it another way - how do you verify that the person opening an ANN thread is an actual representative of the casino?

To be honest, I knew this was a gray area. The premise is that I operate essentially as an affiliate. I accept the moderators' decision, even though I still disagree with it.

Doing this will just be a waste of energy for you, but here it will be different if you make a separate contract with that casino just for ANN thread management.

As I understand it, what you consider an affiliate link, in this case, my sub-casino link, will be officially classified as a "traffic tracer," just as it is with other casinos. This way, everything will be in compliance with the forum's rules.

I certainly don’t want to be different from other casinos. However, it seems to me that if other casinos are allowed to use referral links as traffic-tracking links, then, if provided mine will be officially recognized as such, I see no reason why I shouldn’t do the same.

And you don't have to worry about verification here, the forum members can verify themselves by going to playw3's support or contacting their staff.

That’s great- it’s good that you’re here. Things will be much easier this way.

Had it been you truly understand the rules then there wouldn't have been a need how to creating this thread in the first place, maybe you also have to revisit the rules and know how important it is to only permit for a single thread for any platform, you can possibly ask the moderator to merge the thread for you in case you still want to continue with them all together, that you don't know about the existing one does not permit you to continue with a new one. Why not continue from where the last one ended, even if you are not the OP.
