Buy bitcoin to build wealth, not To Escape Poverty.

Op, you’re just confusing yourself with your words. You can say that people shouldn’t depend on Bitcoin to get rich within a short period, but what is the difference between escaping poverty and building wealth? Those who are investing heavily in Bitcoin heavily today, do you think they are doing it for something else? If they are not building a wealth for the future or to benefit their children in the future, then why are they doing it? People are doing this so they won’t regret why not saving money when they had the opportunity.

However, I wonder what causes the desperation to achieve something within a short time. The question i will ask is, why pro go rush when there is no shortcut to success? Nobody builds wealths in short time unless you want to steal from people, otherwise, real wealth takes a long time to build. Don’t pressure yourself to get rich on time like those who have been building their wealth for decades.

Do you know that being rich and being wealthy is a two different thing.
If you are rich, that does not mean you are wealthy, when you earn very high salaries or income without any investment or assets you are rich but when you have investments and many assets you are wealthy.

Same way rich and wealthy is different that’s same way building wealth and escaping poverty is different.
When you are building wealth you are building investments and assets but when you are trying to escape poverty you are just trying to have basic things of life especially food.

Investment does not give you the opportunity to solve your financial problems immediately, but the main purpose of every investment is to solve financial problems. You may not invest in any asset if it cannot give you returns and cannot play a role in solving your financial problems. But no investment can free you from financial problems overnight or make you rich. The primary purpose of investment should be to acquire wealth and the long-term plan should be to acquire the ability to fight against financial problems.

In all, what’s the benefit of accumulating bitcoin if the process makes you unable to afford your basic needs today?

That is why you need not to go above what is available for you to use and invest. Not being able to afford your basic needs is as good as not having a source of income because if you do, instead of you not to afford your basic needs it will be better to pause your investment pending when you have been able to get enough funds or increase your source of income such that you can be able to afford your needs and still left with discretionary income to continue investing with.

Actually they are not, when we talk about building wealth it has to do with having an asset that you can always get income from and when you focus on building wealth you are looking way above things that are average. Escaping poverty has to do with surviving, being able to afford feeding and other basic things, this isn't wealth it's just survival. How long can you continue being in survival mode when you can actually build wealth through this means. Escaping poverty seems too basic for those investing in Bitcoin for a long Term.

I disagree with you on this, when you are able to build wealth haven't you escaped poverty? And when you escape poverty it means you have also built wealth and you will no longer become poor, so it's just vice versa.

OP you have made good points but you title doesn't make much sense since building wealth and escaping poverty can be seen as the same thing, the distinction you were trying to point out is that we shouldn't tell ourselves that bitcoin can make us rich over night which is the same thing as saying we can escape poverty overnight with bitcoin which is also the same thing as saying we can't build wealth with bitcoin overnight.
Success in bitcoin investment takes time, discipline and consistency and at the end it is still not a guarantee so yes it is true that we should make sure that our needs have been met before we buy bitcoin which also means we should buy bitcoin with our discretionary income instead of forgoing on paying our bills because we want to buy bitcoin.

The problem with most people is their mentality, and the mindset they bring into the crypto space doesn't make sense.  Many people are in the crypto space today because they want to escape poverty.  There is no doubt that Bitcoin can help someone escape poverty, and many people have already done so through it.

IMO, if you want to be successful in the crypto space do not invest as if your life depends on it,  invest only what you can comfortably afford to lose, and never invest money you cannot afford to do without.

Anyone that is serious about building wealth whether through Bitcoin investments or any other investment is actually trying to escape poverty so it's the same thing, you can only say that buying Bitcoin isn't a get rich quick scheme but it will definitely get you out from poverty eventually when the time is right. However, I understand that this is your own opinion but I agree with you that beginners should know that buying Bitcoin isn't going to make them rich overnight and emergency savings should be a priority while investing in Bitcoin.
