More reason to understand why bitcoin is aimed at seeing everyone having their privacy with them, the government is not completely to support you over the use of Bitcoin for any reason, but you can decide on how to go about your plans with the opportunity that comes with embracing through decentralization with Bitcoin, the people know what they want and don't have to wait for government approval before they go take advantage in the operating with Bitcoin individually.
Governments dislike Bitcoin but even in earliest years of Bitcoin existence, it was allowed to use and most governments did not put Bitcoin use as illegal. Now in 2026, you can see the world map on Bitcoin legality status and realize that Bitcoin is legal in most of nations globally.

Now and even recent years, you can use Bitcoin legally without issues but governments want money, tax on citizens, so there are things like AML, KYC on Bitcoin users and cryptocurrency users. If you use these cryptocurrency assets, gain profit, let's pay tax to governments.

It results in need in communities about privacy, no KYC platforms to buy or sell bitcoins but available platforms for this purpose have become less with time and stricter regulatory enforcement.
The question is not if they like it, or if they legalised it; the question is, will it help or hurt? And I think it will hurt, because at the end of the day, unless we have some drastic, huge change in the entire monetary system all around the world, the economy will keep on getting worse. We have rich people who are amassing the entire wealth of the world, maybe a million people at most, and they are living very well, and the rest of the world just keeps on working for them, hoping to have a good life.

The number of people who could own a home (not rent, not mortgage, but actually own) and own one car, can pay their hospital and drug bills if they get sick, can send their kids to college, all without having debt, is probably less than 1% around the world. That means, economy is already bad, having bitcoin means that you are not even putting it back on the fiat world, so you are taking it out, you are taking out your money from the already crumbling system. Which will make it even worse.

Anyhow, would love to hear people's thoughts on this...
In fact, I see that the impact of Bitcoin on the United States (US) can be said to be multidimensional, meaning that there are various aspects that the US faces regarding the presence of Bitcoin, such as advantages for the US, disadvantages/challenges for the US.

But I think the impact of the benefits for the US is greater than anything else.

As I often read in one of the US financial sources.
Quote
Large financial institutions in the US are increasingly factoring Bitcoin into the mainstream economic landscape. A report from JPMorgan Asset Management projects Bitcoin's annual returns to potentially reach 10% in the long term. However, this instrument also has very high annual volatility reaching 55%.

Quote
Fiscal Hedge: Bitcoin is seen by some US institutional investors as a monetary alternative or "digital gold" at a time when US government debt is soaring.

Although Bitcoin's impact on the US meets various analysts but overall Bitcoin is a partial solution for the US Government in general.
