The pitch in one paragraph
Every established coin forces you to fight industrial farms for a shrinking slice. SmartCore launched the other way around: the network is days old, difficulty is near the floor, and the block reward is a flat 1 SMC — so the miners who show up now are the ones holding coins years from now that everyone else will have to buy. The whole stack — chain, pool, explorer, dashboards — is public and inspectable, so "trust me" is not required.

Technical facts (all verifiable, links below)

• an automatic watchdog starts a backup pool + emergency mining within minutes if block production stalls,
• a standby GPU rig takes over automatically on bigger outages,
• all incidents and recoveries are announced publicly in Discord by an automated bot — you do not have to trust reports, you can watch block height yourself.

For GPUs point T-Rex/NBminer/ethminer at the same endpoint (ethash). NiceHash-style stratum workers and arbitrary worker names are supported.

Why early chains are worth 30 minutes of your rig time
Difficulty on a fresh ethash chain is a rounding error compared to ETH-era levels — your hashrate is worth hundreds of times more here than on a major coin. The emission is fixed and the code is open, so the usual rug patterns (silent emission changes, owner-mints) are technically visible and blocked by design: the chain runs on unmodified open-source geth with a public genesis. Worst case you spent a few days of power on an honest experiment; best case you are early on something that grows.

UPDATE: SMC-USDT is LIVE on the exchange + public treasury sale waves

The SmartCore exchange now trades SMC-USDT. Here is what makes it different from "listed on CEX #4717":

• Zero-transfer mining: your stratum worker name is your exchange deposit address. Point your miner at the pool with your personal exchange address as username — matured payouts arrive on the exchange balance by themselves. No wallet hop, no confirmations to babysit.
  
• On-chain verification: every deposit, payout and trade is traceable — the chain is public, the explorer is public, the node guide is public.
  
• USDT in/out via TRON (cheap), BSC and Polygon. Maker fee 0%, taker 0.5% during launch month.
  

Treasury sale waves — first public supply of SMC for USDT
The project holds a transparent premine (visible in the genesis). Instead of dumping it, the treasury sells it in fixed waves, as ordinary limit orders in the public order book — you can watch every fill in the block explorer.

Prices revised Oct 28: the market opened above expectations (SMC-USDT trades near 0.10 USDT, ~320 USDT volume on day one), so the original 0.005 line is withdrawn. Waves now run at a fixed ~50% discount to market:
