IPO of Anthropic (The company behind Claude) is confirmed. It's valuation is around $1.5-2 Trillion and the Pre-IPO's are already out.
Considering how successful the company is and how good the AI public companies have performed recently, I think its something we should not miss out.
I'm going to try and get as much IPO as possible but there are Pre-IPO tokens already being traded.

What do you think would be the ideal price for ANT Pre-IPO tokens and are they a good buy at 117? How far would it go even before IPO.

I have no guess for it and I think you're right that we shouldn't miss this one. But there's something that's bugging my mind and it's about the possible AI bubble burst that recently reported happened in China. It's said that it had wiped out $480B for its market there. And that's why with optimism that I have for this likes of ipo, can't remove the fact that this ai bubble might also burst any time soon and these companies are looking to have a decent profit and nice exit before it happens.

There’s currently two different markets for Anthropic’s pre-IPO on Hyperliquid. According to these markets, Anthropic has an implied valuation of around $1.9 trillion. I think it will probably debut close to where it is currently trading on these perp venues.

As hyped as their listing is, I wouldn’t put too much into it right now. I would wait a while and buy the dips. Mega IPOs tend to start off really high and then go down by a lot before recovering. SPCX for example, dropped almost 50% from its all time high in the weeks after they got listed. It is still down slightly from its first public trading day.

Claude has publicly filed its IPO prospectus on 26 October 2026 but we do not know when the IPO will begin. It is just a legal document that will bring the date the IPO will be out closer but no date disclosed yet for the IPO.

I will prefer to continue investing in bitcoin for now. I will later buy a shares of the stock but not now. I will wait for the stock to be listed and wait for a little time to see if the price of the stock will fall a little before buying.

There is no juice in this IPO left for us the retailer, anyone with connection already buying at pre round and if the IPO valuation sitting at $2 trillion, they easily make 100-1000x profit while the best scenario for us is maybe 20% gain. The Pre-IPO tokens are also overvalued sitting right at the higher end of estimated valuation which is $1.9T. I don't know if I'm going to participate in this IPO. Feels like an exit to dump on the retailers. I might have better luck investing on BTC and wait for 2 years, I'd probably get 2x easily. Just in May this company was valued at $965B at primary funding round and it's already $2T.

The YoY revenue growth probably the only justification for buying at $2T valuation by betting the growth is sustainable and parabolic, but operating loss is concerning and they don't even want to build their own AI data center. I wish they change that around.

I think caution should be taken as to not confuse the names ANT that trade independently and have no connection to Anthropic Ai business. There's also no public web link directly that direct on how to purchase Anthropic's IPO yet because no official date.

So it's better in the future to take heed and buy real equity instead of a crypto derivative and to know the company valuation behind the price.

Not to mention, if you are outside US, getting into the IPO directly is whole lot more complicated.

Most IPO shares go to fund and institutional investor, with only a small slice set aside for retail investors. Platforms like Robinhood, and SoFi and Fidelity do offer IPO access. But it's usually limited to US account holder who meet certain eligibility requirement.

So if you are not in US, you'd be better off waiting until the stock actually list on Nasdaq before considering buying in.

Diversifying into stocks, especially AI-related ones like SPCX or ANT isn't a bad idea. But buying in around the IPO out of FOMO, especially now that the AI hype is starting to cool off, doesn't seem like the best move imo.

I don't have a price target for ANT, but I just want to remind you what happened with SPCX. It was trading around $150 on its first day on the market, but less than two months later, it had dropped to nearly $100 at one point.

My point is , if you wanna get in , that's fine . Just no need to rush, there'll be no shortage of chances to pick it up at a discount.

AI currently become a trending technology, as we know lately they are more smarter even the free version. However, if talking about investing and buying stock, and thinking about double the return in short time, you might need to reconsider about that. Because technology moving faster, and it can be replaced by new technologies in the future. If the company you are investing in become a company that can't stay up-to-date for their technology and services, it may be abandoned by their users slowly. Here, I agree with @BALIK, it's okay to buy shares in AI company, but don't let FOMO controlled your mind. It will better to always prioritize risk management over speculating on double profits.

I haven't done full research on their valuation and every other thing so I won't get it at the IPO price. I read somewhere that the company is not yet profitable and that is has something to do with circular financing. So what I plan to do, is to wait till after the IPO. The AI trade has been unwinding throughout this week as NAS100 has since dropped from the 31k+ price level to currently 28.3k+ levels so I'm watching the index and for now, that tells me that the market is bearish going into  Anthropic IPO.

My best guess is that it would follow a similar path with SpaceX and would dump significantly post-IPO. When I consider the drop deep enough, I'll start DCAing into it.

That's my full plan for now but nothing is concrete yet or set in stone.

Seems like market timing is not on their side.  I wonder how long it will be before they are profitable.  I also see they have greater than $600B in computing commitments.  With this crazy spending and the competition, it definitely feels like a bubble.  Fortunately and unfortunately just like the internet, AI is here to stay but it will be interesting to see what companies are standing when the bubble pops.  There will be consolidations/mergers along with belly ups just like the dot.com era.  To the potential retail buyers of these grossly inflated IPOs- caveat emptor, elige sapienter.
