KYC does not help anyone and this is why.

If you are thinking of storing your coins in an exchange, stop. Think about what you are doing, get some computer and put Linux on it, never connect it to the internet, and make that your cold storage.

And don't forget to keep your mouth shut and not tell anyone about it.

I think CZ through this report as OP shown has confirmed this. They (custodian platforms) cannot prevent leaks which inherently tells you that your data will always be breached or worst off shared with third party providers.

Been your own bank can never be over emphasized and I definitely agree that this is the perfect time for everyone learn how to build their own cold wallet. With it your free from data leaks either from exchanges or from even hardware wallets which are just so common now

CZ offers a peculiar piece of advice: while you can change your username and phone number, you cannot alter your legal name, KYC data, address details, or geographical location. Furthermore, you should avoid providing temporary or placeholder information, as doing so could lead to your account being frozen.
In short, once you submit such data to these platforms, there is no guarantee that it won’t be leaked to third parties.

If the data has been leaked, customers can only surrender... Cry

Including even hardware now more data leaks, which they should be able to protect remain an endless victim.

There are no idle computers so we still rely on hardware for storage.
Others started switching to iPhones and the phone was never in use... just to keep the assets.

And don't forget to keep your mouth shut and not tell anyone about it.
Yeah... do not flexing.
