Because people are never contented, even when they are already at the top, they never stop and keep aiming for more until they forget that they've already become greedy. That is not what the OP is asking. Example of social material resources are recreational facilities, communication facilities, electricity, water supply, schools and libraries, houses and buildings, clinics and others. That why the rich are the ones that are getting the best of these things.

But truly, the world will not be fair because people are different in every strata both in size, mental acuity and knowledge etc. So this will give rise to different choice to life and different ways to achieve it. Achieving it is also a function of the kind of different environment available for different people. In other words, even the environment is not uniform and therefore not fair too. Thoughtfully, there is no way that the world will be fair with the nature of the environment and policies people made as rules to be able to conquer their environment. That is why you will have different kinds of governance system, culture, rules and laws, every other thing has to be different from the experiences of different people and the way they interpret or react to situations.

Greed and power. For the world to be fair, it has to be built on morality. And that is not the case in this world. Power rules. The strong regardless of whether they are evil will rule. If a strong and good man is in power then the world enjoys. But that is not always the case.

What I think is that everyone is after their own interests and they do so by making others pay for their sins. What a world we leave in.

This is true: some rich kid born in an elite UK family, versus some kid in a poverty-ridden area, will not have the same opportunities even if life were fair to them both. In fact, even in the same jobs, two people will not be the same; life throws different things at them. At the end of the day, life is not fair, and that will cause differences to begin with.

We put an even larger gap ourselves meanwhile, because politics, bribery, and bad people all end up making the gap even bigger by doing things that they should not do.

But saying it has nothing to do with total resources goes too far. Compared to many kings in the past, the average modern man enjoys vastly more resources. No king ever had a phone or antibiotics. Most of us have clean water. Some kings even died from a toothache. Wealth absolutely improves the material conditions of daily life. But no one measures themselves against a 1400s king. We compare ourselves to people around us, like the cousin who just bought a new car.

The world is not fair because the source of justice is not in the world, and the source of anything in this world is not in this world. Everything in this world is a reflection. That is why we cannot find anything we are looking for. Even inside our own homes, we might find one sock but not the other... :)

It hard to even understand what you're saying, but it's probably complaining about rich people. In a capitalist society there will always be rich and poor, but it doesn't necessarily correlate with what somebody has actually contributed to society. What you might argue is that wealth should be heavily taxed when passed on via inheritance, because the person who earned it is dead and why shouldn't massive amounts of wealth be trimmed down a bit at this point. I'm talking about billionaires, there's no problem with their kids keeping a hundred million and still living infinitely better lives than the vast majority of people could ever imagine but having the rest of their wealth spread back in to helping society rather than just helping a handful of people over a few generations of one family. It's very greedy and selfish, especially because those same billionaires only spend their whole life hoarding wealth and often giving very little back to good causes. Exceptions should be made for those billionaires who do contribute and give away their wealth to good causes throughout their lives. Back to the original question though, the problem tends to be much worse in places with unregulated capitalism instead of well regulated capitalism, but there will always be "elites" who accumulate far more than others.

The world isn't, and cant be, fair mainly because resources like (money, opportunities, connections, education, etc.) tend to depend on the field of study, and the company (friend or family) we keep.
Meanwhile, there will always be people who already have advantages over others, whether through luck, timing, family, or earlier success, who will always get better access to social material resources than others.
Therefore, the world isn't designed to be fair from the get-go.

It has something to do with the amount of materials and resources that the world has. And those people you said who are high ranking, they always receive the best quality and these resources or materials you say are very limited.

Not only about the quality but also the quantity, they have money therefore they also get the resources.

The world has never been fair and it just cannot be, i mean look at nature, for an animal to eat another animal has to die and thats just how nature is, you cant say a lion shouldnt kill because you dont want it to eat a deer in the jungle. Even with money, for the longest time money has been known to only just circulate around the rich, even government officials, they tend to keep opportunities in their circle. These things may not be right when you look at the context and effect on the greater public but thats the point, this world isnt fair at all.
One is certain, you cannot just sit and wish the world would bend to your will, you literally have to bend it yourself, at least thats what i think.

Just from reading the way you have expressed yourself, I was very sure that many people will have an issue with understanding you.

The world is not only unfair because high-ranking individuals in society get higher-quality resources. There is unfairness in the world because that is how the world is meant to be. All fingers are not equal by design, and even if higher-quality resources are distributed to high-, middle-, and low-ranking individuals, they will not be in the same quantity.

The world is never fair because we know that any action does not give an equivalent value in return.  Some say life is a gamble, and in many cases, I believe that.  The world is fair that no one can choose their birthparent but the world is unfair because some are born into a wealthy family while others are dirt poor.

Regardless of the unfair world, it is not a reason to give up.  Instead, it should be our motivation to strive harder.  If the world is unfair, don't give up and show people that the unfair treatment of the world won't break our spirit to thrive and pursue our dreams and goals.
