Really? How do you explain that bitvest.io has never been shut down by authorities? It has been operating for more than a decade. Lightlord had another casino as well, that wasn't shut down by authorities either. Freebitco.in operated for many years without a license without being shot down either. In fact, I don't recall anyone on the forum mentioning that any casino had been shut down for not having a license.

I think their crypto only integration, then no jurisdiction attached on where they are originated. Also we can add up that they are pure anonymous. Make governments think that they don't have jurisdiction to attack Bitvest.

That is the point, if you don't get a license and don't comply with KYC requirements, you have to operate anonymously, and then governments have no way to take action against you. Although I imagine this limits growth opportunities. Handling the volumes that Stake handles, for example, couldn't be done anonymously the way Bitvest does.

With regulation comes a burden. I believe that regulated casinos are, in a way, safer for gamblers, as they are governed by laws, and, in case of disputes, we have someone to turn to, but we lose the benefits to which we are most attached when it comes to betting with cryptocurrencies. There's no arguing; we will be the first affected by this stricter regulation.

I find it kind of crazy: people go into casinos and gamble to launder money, risking losing it too. It doesn't make sense, but it happens... Cheesy

Criminals can't be all stupid, if it doesn't make sense to them they won't be doing it, the fastest way to end up with clean money is moving the money through churches funds or the casino.

Once it passed through these two sources( there could be more ) it becomes clean money instantly, it works every time is why we are seeing many doing it today.

The method could be seen as old but it's way better than even moving stolen coins through Monero and and maybe mixers that scammers are practicing right now..

But with enough winnings, also that withdrawing part quickly becomes problematical. It doesn't matter if casino says that they are not doing kyc, because this is the part where they are risking going to jail. They need to confirm who you actually are in order to shield themselves. And in some cases (this will become more typical), they need proof of origin for the money you deposited before you won.
That’s one thing gamblers fail to put into adequate consideration , especially when the casinos advertise no KYC. It’s a lot more easier to simply deposit and start playing, but the story often changes the moment it’s time to withdraw, particularly large amounts of money. The moment large amounts of money is involved, the platform may have to answer questions about the source of the funds, regardless of whatever promised it made initially.

Even the casino agreed with the data privacy one their data is leaks all of your information is now available in the internet and can't be deleted.
And until now, there has been no action from regulators regarding cases of customer data leaks, whether from hacking or intentional data breaches. That is what is regrettable at the moment.
Casinos comply with regulators to request KYC from customers, but there is no real guarantee regarding the security of the data that has been provided.
Therefore, currently, more customers might prefer to use no-KYC platforms.

As far as I remember crypto casinos were created in first place to offer customers an alternative to the bureaucratic and centralized fiat online casinos. The proposal was to be simplest and most accessible as possible. You could create an account in a minute, deposit money, bet and then cashout without any interferences. But since regulations took place in this industry, crypto casinos stopped being an alternative and have just become more of the same.

It's a complicated situation casinos face. At same time, if they don't follow the regulations imposed, they will be very limited on their operations, and may face harsh punishments from authorities.

exactly alternative that allows us to use our dear and beloved bitcoin.
As you well know, bitcoin is our lifeline, and so why not use it in everyday life,
So in my opinion even in entertainment such as gambling or other.

Even with KYC it is always very easy to deposit or fund your account but it becomes a problem and challenging when trying to make withdrawal though it is not all amount that always carries the withdrawal issue. If the winning is so big, Casino will start demanding for KYC before such money can be withdrawn from the Casino and honestly it doesn't make any sense because they allow someone deposit without any KYC then after a big win, they start demanding for KYC when they saw how the person managed to win the amount.

In the case of platforms, this rule must be followed because casinos are liable to the government. Especially if a large amount of money is won, casinos have to keep proper information about that user. Moreover, they also have to know whether he is a real user or not. In this case, there is nothing wrong with asking a new KYC information from a platform user. However, if it happens with that small amount of money, then I think they have made false promises to the gamblers about KYC information in the beginning. Although there is no way to say that this will happen in the case of all casinos. While these demands are reasonable for regulated casinos, the same rules do not apply to unlicensed platforms.

I don't see a time when the regulators fail to tighten up the security measures with the casino KYC request, and mostly you will discover that gamblers are the ones facing the difficult situations at the end, but things are now better than before because you can either choose to use a casino that has a KYC request or the type that does not support KYC in using them, always make your findings to know more about the casino before you go into them properly and understand their KYC policy.

Tightening KYC is a trend that isn't going to stop anytime soon.  It is probably the best tool that casinos have to show regulators that gambling should be allowed to expand into new markets and games.  Players hate it because it is an incredible invasion of privacy, but until gambling online becomes more commonplace and accepted, I think the KYC trend can only continue on one path.  Eventually it will ease, but not until they're done making inroads.  We are still far from that day.

Op I understand your concern. You want to collect more information about me, when you can't clearly protect your house. How sure am I that this new information about me will be safe in your hands. That's a major concern. Nk doubt. But before that happened, they may have a track record of high level security and that breach happened. What I do know is that nothing is 100% secured. If not now, maybe later. But eventually. What should be more of concern is whether the instruction that is affected can find a way to balance things and get back in business. That one is very good.

I think the operators are not putting enough on kn trying to protect users' data. They easily share it with third-party partners, which might be in accordance to the terms we agreed upon, but it's not right. I think we should have a rule which also protects customer data in their hand where regulators mandate them to take data protection security seriously if any users data get leaked they should be held accountable to either face penalty that way I believe they will put more effort in protecting it.

In fact, when a gambler complete KYC against his will in a casino, his personal information goes to the casino. If the casino does not store the gambler personal information seriously, then if this information is leaked, the gambler will have to face various problems such as being a victim of financial fraud and fraudsters can commit identity fraud. In addition, the gambler may face family and social problems. Casinos do not only accept gambler personal information by completing KYC. Of course, it is the responsibility of the casino authorities to store gambler information securely. If the casino fails to store the information securely, then the authorities will have to be held accountable for this. It is important for the regulatory to force the casino so that the casino authorities store gambler information more consciously.

I remember reading about the very first online casinos that allowed gambling using Bitcoin. Not only did they have no KYC procedures, they didn't even have player accounts! You simply sent your satoshi to the casino's address, and if you won, you'd get a large sum back. These were completely anonymous online casinos that didn't even require players to provide an email address (let alone disclose detailed personal information). 🙋

Those were the moments, the era, when we were happy and didn't know it. This is something we may never see again. The KYC controls are quite tedious. The fact that they want so much data makes me lazy to send it, so I only have KYC forms in a few places to avoid these issues.

There's no security anymore. Security breaches are very easy for hackers to exploit. They're very focused on getting money by any means necessary. Just the Binance situation shows how precarious things are.

The funniest thing is that in three years, you'll be writing the same thing about today: "It was an era when we were happy, but didn't realize it! How much opportunity and freedom we had in 2026!" 🙋

I remember how, in 2008, a group of futurologists tried to predict the development of the internet through 2025. As is usually the case in such cases, four main scenarios were proposed: optimistic, optimistically realistic, negatively realistic, and negative. Reality turned out to be worse than the fourth negative scenario of 2008...

The combination of KYC and AML (which is what the new updated regulations propose) means complete control over the financial flows of players wishing to play at their favorite casino using cryptocurrency. We could easily end up in a situation where using cryptocurrency for gambling becomes completely pointless. It will be easier to use fiat money. 🧖

Now hackers can reverse engineer any website they want to hack and check for bugs that will help them to initiate a hack successfully. Artificial intelligence has been helping these hackers to become smart at what they are doing and this is why billionaires kike Bill Gates, Elon Must, Mark Zuckerberg and others have been asking the government to control artificial intelligence or else it's going to be used for crazy instructions that will make it easier for hackers to compromise companies and projects will be getting hacked on any slightest error or bugs on their system.
Computer tools are something that can't be avoided when they reach such high levels of danger. There are white hat hackers and black hat hackers who misuse these tools, but it's very wrong when they're used for theft.

However, AI tools should also be used for protection, but it's ineffective because, for many reasons, criminals have the advantage in their attacks, and all that's left is to try to defend ourselves and learn from those attacks.

The part that worries me isn't simply more KYC, it's the combination of identity data and wallet intelligence. A passport tells the operator who you are; blockchain analytics can expose years of financial relationships. What limits exist on how long that risk data is retained or reused?
The more data given out there is going to be more people getting exposed. The more that's given out. That's how massive wrench attack will increase in different places when someone gets access to their database again and sells users' files to someone who will use it. They will start fishing out those with fat pocket and this will move from online attack to home envision, there should be limited to what's being asked for on a serious note.

It seems like it's becoming a trend that more regulators are starting to tighten their KYC rules. The goal might be to improve transparency, prevent money laundering, and other things that are considered necessary to tighten at those casinos. However, I think that casinos will start to migrate to regulators with more flexible regulatory frameworks and less restrictive monitoring --- and users can still expect to play with fewer restrictions for now, perhaps until more regulators become stricter and players eventually have no choice but to accept stricter KYC procedures.

That’s right. Any gambler who is too concerned or skeptical about their releasing their personal data should simply go for decentralized casinos, because using a central casino simply means at some point, the casino may require you to do a mandatory KYC, especially during huge withdrawals. So it’s literally left for gamblers to make their choice, and make sure that they are prepared for whatever outcome that comes with the choice they decide to make.

OP, I just checked this forum thread with an AI text detector (Justdone.com) and it shows 99% AI content and only 1% human written content. There's no need for you to post walls of text generated by AI on this forum. Yes, the Curacao gambling license won't be what it used to be and many crypto casinos would most likely switch to other jurisdictions. And yes, KYC rules and regulations would most likely become stricter in the future. How the gamblers would deal with this? I honestly think that most gamblers would abide by the new KYC regulations. There's nothing else that we could do.
