Anyone can create a cryptocurrency, but can anyone create another Bitcoin?

What I think it's bitcoin strength is his reputation that he has built. The founder of Bitcoin has over 80 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin and he hasn't touched it. That alone may have been another addition of good reputation and trust people have for Bitcoin. People can copy the code and replicate Bitcoin limited supply. Reputation can't just be built like that. It takes years. It's like building a project and connecting directly to people's need.

Yes, that's one of the reasons BTC has a good reputation among people. Satoshi's BTC still exists and hasn't gone anywhere. So, it seems very difficult to find an asset that resembles BTC because BTC is a pioneer, and people will definitely choose BTC even if someone creates a coin like it.

However, I find this topic interesting because sometimes I have similar thoughts, but after thinking about it, BTC will certainly remain superior even if there are other BTCs. That's why several large companies and several countries have dared to adopt BTC because they also know that BTC is a good asset, and if there were other BTCs, it certainly wouldn't be the same.

But even on their toping in value, the dominance or say popularity of the US dollars can't be underemphasized, some of the top currency in value might not even be in serious use outside it's country of origin like US dollars. That's what happens when a new cryptocurrency is made, Bitcoin continues it's dominance, while within not more than a year the new crypto next chapter is extinction.

In many cases, yes, but currencies like Ethereum, Monero, which is nearing a new ATH now, TRON, which has also been doing pretty well lately, and some others don't disappear after a year or two. They can crash, of course, but it's very unlikely since they've been around for years. But Bitcoin beats them in that respect, and that's why the likelihood of it crashing is even lower.
