If money is not spent or not expendable, it is just a piece of paper. The paper used for writing can also be valuable if it is expendable, but if money is not spent or not expendable, it is worthless like dirty paper lying on the street. Basically, the value of money is spendability or exchangeability. We will get the value of the paper notes that we have deposited in the bank only when we use it.

In the economy, purchasing assets, i.e. investment or spending, is given more priority than fiat savings. Because both investment and spending take the economy to a stronger position and make the country more productive. In Japan and South Korea, spending is given more priority to make people more hardworking, which will make people more hardworking and productive. If savings increase, people will become lazy and production will also decrease.

I think people should get used to a spending-oriented economy. Instead of depositing fiat in the bank, buy some assets or invest in productive activities. While fiat has no intrinsic value, assets have intrinsic value that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

It is not better that you lack money than having it and keeping it for a time either in the bank or in other asset. Sometimes if you are unsure of the investment option you are to embark on, it is better to leave your money in the bank than investing it in a thing that has the potential of ruining the little money you have managed to gather to even start your business or investment.

Spending is a general term but spending on the right thing is a specific term that matters most. there are times when mere leaving your money in the bank is a better option than spending it in something that is not worth  it value. in holding money, you have to know how to hold it in the right form and in spending it, you have to know how to spend it for the right reason.

Probably not because when you don't have money and you want to buy something, even a little money becomes valuable. If you have money, you won't value it, you will spend it blindly because you know that you can have a lot of luxury with it, whereas sometimes I feel that when I don't have a little money and I want that thing, I feel the value of money, so here it is only after spending wastefully that you need money when it is valuable. Money is meant to carry out transactions. For transactions to take place, there has to be buying and selling. Based on my understanding, put our money in a bank account, does not automatically mean that the money has no value especially when the money was intentionally set aside for a specific purpose. For me, money has many purpose such as to fullfill today needed, alocated for investment or kept liquid to deal with emergencies due to its accessibility and flexibility, so when there are emergency situation we don't need to sacrifice our assetby sell it on lowest rate of caught on debt trap for daily needed.

I think to find solution and proper strategy we should understanding the purpose of every amount we possess. Money deposited in a bank maybe does not give the highest return, but those money can buy security, time, and choice when we need them most. So we decide money to be spent today, to protect us from any risk and duns our future.

I know people who don’t spend the money they have but are obsessed with investing and think only about saving. I find this rather harsh and sad. A friend of mine, who is the same age as me, just saves money, but has no purpose in life. He just goes to work, earns money and keeps it invested. He spends almost nothing. He’s never travelled anywhere, and has hardly ever been abroad. He isn’t married and doesn’t have a girlfriend. I agree with the OP. The money you have resting in your bank account whether it is growing or not it is still very much important because it makes you feel comfortable and add to your health because money is life. Everybody must not go into investments when they have money, some people will choose when to invest there money so when they are not investing or buying anything the money can be resting in his account. To be precise, everyone can choose investment instruments like gold and Bitcoin, although the risks are different. However, Bitcoin can also produce quite interesting surprises every four years. So choosing Bitcoin is also a good option and at least it's much better than just keeping money in a bank for a long time. I personally don't really like keeping money in a bank, although I do maintain a local bank account for convenience in conducting business from time to time. This is because most customers today prefer to pay via bank transfer rather than cash.

That’s not true. In some countries where their fiat currencies have value, the money saved in their banks are valuable because they save it for some purpose which include future interest and not to suffer in the future if they don’t have plan for the future. No condition is permanent, we can’t just use all we earn at once without saving for the future, we need to find a means of savings because we can lose our sources of income and will will definitely look for a way to survive. That your savings will be your pride.

If you are earning little or average that can just be enough for you to cover your needs, it is understandable, but if you have more, you can’t just keep spending unnecessary, you will have to plan yourself by saving some part of the money.

Most of the points raised here are wrong because there is a very big difference between having money in the bank and not having it at all. It is more of a psychological thing; having morning in the bank bring confidence, peace and joy and remove all the worries provided health is fine. Conversely, not having money creates mental stress, depression and low self esteem. They bring totally different feelings so instead of me not to have money, I rather have it locked in the bank.

If money is left in the bank for a long time and does not generate any profit from that money, then its purchasing power may decrease over time due to inflation. The amount of goods or services that can be purchased with the same amount of money today may not be able to be purchased with the same amount of money in a few years. However the value of money is not limited to making a profit alone. Being able to use it when needed and maintaining financial security are equally important.

If the emergency fund money is kept in the bank or in a safe place that can be easily accessed it may not yield significant profits. But in unexpected situations, that money can protect you from a major financial crisis. Even if you invest the entire amount, there is a possibility of good profits but there may be a risk of selling the asset at a loss in an emergency. Investing all the money for the purpose of making a profit is not wise.

People do not want to lose that money after earning money with hard work. I know a lot of people that has money and there focus is on saving plus they spent it fearfully when its time to spent some amount which is totally wrong because i think a balance is needed in spending and saving money.
