Having money is good, it brings a differently compared with those that don’t have money. But I think there’s no difference between those the people that have money and lock it away in the bank, and those that don’t have money. A money lock away in a safe, without plans of making use of it, is of no value to you.
Those that spend the little they earned on things they need are actually the ones deriving the value of money. It is better you don’t have money than have money don’t use, that are sitting idle in the bank for years without being used.
What is your take on this?
Of course money should work for you, but different things happen in life, and circumstances can change. In any case, I would say it's better to have money set aside as a financial reserve or emergency fund than to have nothing at all. When an unexpected situation arises and you need that money, you'll really feel its absence.
On the other hand, you're talking about people who spend everything straight away and enjoy the benefits immediately. You can spend your money on a new phone, going out to cafes, buying coffee three times a day, cigarettes, alcohol, and so on. I have acquaintances like that too, by the end of the month, they have nothing left. But what kind of future will they have if they continue living this way...
