There are many good investments out there that everyone will profit from them in the long term. For exampel, gold and passive etf funds.
Well, words are relative in meaning and subject to interpretation(s) according to whoever is consuming them. If I may ask what your idea of a long term investment is, we will quickly discover that it will differ from what many other users are going to say. This is why I don't really base my expectations of ROI of any investment on (long/short) terms. I base it on whatever I'm able to get off that investment when I close the deal, not how it stays. People lose on long term "perceived" great investments too. It's not necessarily whether one is going long term or not but on when one jumps in or out. There are people who won't invest in gold or Bitcoin because of their past horrible experiences in such assets. If Bitcoin stays down as it's now till 2030, that should be about four years, and I believe it's long term enough. In my books, it's. Can we say those who bought in late 2025 when it crossed $126k  made a wise decision? But of course, not.

An investment to make one, people also need to understand it. In fact, if we were to say that Bitcoin will remain at these levels until 2030, we might even be happy about it as this would calm the general FOMO of this years and we could still buy bitcoin at a discount (below 100k), because we know full well that when Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general become globally recognised within the financial system, it will have a disruptive effect that will change the way things have been conceived over the last 100 years. And this will also apply to its spot price and therefore to us. Those who give up have lost.

What is your take on this?
The reason why money it is referred to as currency is due to its ability to flow, money ought not to be stagnated cause when it is stagnated it affects the economic life of individual or countries as the case may be.

Money has to be rotated in order to yield profits, rotation in this context simply means legitimate investment in profit oriented ventures.

When money is kept in the bank in form of savings, the tendencies of making profits are very low because saving money isn't an investment.

Keeping money in bank without using it for investment or business it's not a wise thing to do as someone one who wants to be free financially, your money wouldn't grow for you if just kept in the bank, in some country inflation will make the money you save in bank to be worthless.

People use money to chase money, that is by investing it in what that will generate out money for you, the value of money is making use of it by either investing it in business or use it to purchase asset that will appreciate in value in time coming like landed property.

Money is used to get money. You want to be a cyber security, probably you need money for gadget and training, you want to do business (you need money for this or that). When you have it all in the bank without ever putting it or a portion of  it in use then it is the same as not having money.
The bank is a business organization that wants to make profit and therefore less less liberal than Bitcoin. So your money in the bank only gives silent or negligible profit or interest when compared to liberal ventures like Bitcoin although not guaranteed.

If price were to remain hypothetically so till 2030, those who invested around its ATH won't be happy of course. Even those who had it stashed. You could be happy because you don't have it or that you didn't buy during the $100k+ range. This is how business or investments work. There certainly will be losers just the same way winners will emerge. No matter how bad an investment is, there will be those who will make profit from it; even if it's only the project team. It's vice versa. Name any investment where people made great profit, and then look closely, you will find those who lost money in it too.

Having money is good, it brings a differently compared with those that don’t have money. But I think there’s no difference between those the people that have money and lock it away in the bank, and those that don’t have money. A money lock away in a safe, without plans of making use of it, is of no value to you.
Those that spend the little they earned on things they need are actually the ones deriving the value of money. It is better you don’t have money than have money don’t use, that are sitting idle in the bank for years without being used.

What is your take on this?

Some money that some people lock in the bank has its own purpose. For instance, some people save a certain amount of money in the bank for emergencies purposes and I don't see anything wrong with that. But if someone is the kind of person who always saves money without any particular purpose, does not spend it on themselves and just keeps accumulating it for nothing, then I would say that such money has no value to them. They are not different from those who don't have money at all. However, the best approach is for someone to invest their money rather than just keep saving it in the bank. I think it is a very wrong idea to rely on saving money in the bank alone. One of the main reasons is inflation. Even when money is kept safely in the bank, if the interest earned is not substantial, its value will still be affected by inflation.

Wealth is what you cant see. Rich people might live a very simple life

Every dollar you save and invest wisely will work for you, multiplying itself.

Ofc you need to spend it eventually, dying with money is just stupid.
Yeah what's the point in having money and not spending it. It's good to save yes but you have to enjoy the money you're making sometimes like giving yourself a treat.

It will be unfortunate to see someone gather so much wealth and just live like a regular person, eating regular meals and so on. Spending money on yourself definitely feels as important as making it especially when it adds to you.

Don't get me wrong we need to invest more than we spend but what if we spent on investing like buying a nice jewellery serves both investing and spending.

Yes, you are correct in a sense but spending aimlessly too will ruin you faster than poverty would. That's why you here of a fraudster making a huge sum of money and within a twinkle of an eye, the money has been blown on frivolities. Money spending and management is a skill that we all need to learn and master if we want to ever create wealth. The wealthy names we hear today are not just spenders but prudent to make sure that every penny spent is bringing back more.  So yes, spending is the key but much more wisely is the way to go.

If you ask people with knowledge about investment,  at least with basic level, the answers will be the same for long term.

All good financial portfolios are very much alike. The bad ones all fail in their own unique way.

I am not reinventing the wheel here.
Just buy ETF and dont sell. You will be more than 1000% in a few decades.

Just like buffet said "nobody wants to get rich slow"

You are right. Money can be increased by investing. And those who have money should try to invest it without leaving it unnecessarily or keeping it in the bank. Because the main purpose of money is done only when money is in circulation. You mentioned cyber security related , this is a good example. But people can invest without buying anything. If someone wants, they can spend money to learn something. In that case, that person can develop skills with that money, with which he can earn more income. Even the money spent on education is also a type of investment. Through which a person gets the opportunity  degree in the future and create a good job or income source. And depositing money in the bank means letting the value of that money decrease day by day. At the same time, if one of the two people had kept money in the bank 5 years ago, and the other had invested the same amount of money in bitcoin, then the person who invested in bitcoin would have been in a better position. He would have made several times more profit than his invested money. In addition to bitcoin, there are good investment options like land and gold, where there is a high probability of getting profit by investing. Therefore, it is possible to achieve greater financial prosperity by investing with that money instead of saving it.

I get the point, but I don’t think having money saved means it has no use or value. Some people just prefer to be careful with their money rather than rushing into investments or businesses they’re not fully prepared for. They might be taking their time and just waiting for the right opportunity.
Besides, saving it’s always locking money away. Some savings accounts actually earn interest over time. So I think is all about knowing when to save , when to invest and when to spend. Not everyone has the same financial priorities.

You have money and you have kept your money in the bank and another person has no money, but these two things are not the same. Yes, let's say you have money in the bank, now to withdraw that money you need to get permission from a third party, but even with the permission of a third party, you can meet your needs by withdrawing that money, but what will someone who does not have money actually do to meet their needs? I think where will we keep the money or invest the money or do something else is the next issue. The first issue is that it is very important for us to have money because if we do not have money, it means we do not have the ability to meet our needs, we do not have the ability to fulfill our desires. I will never try to compare the position of those who have enough money and those who keep money in the bank with those who do not have money.

One thing most people fail to realize is that there isn't really a right opportunity when it comes to investments, investing takes a graudal process, you don't necessarily need to wait until you have a lot of money before making an investment, the right opportunity would never come if you don't work towards it. A lot of people always assume that they are not prepared and the more they wait without making a move they end up not starting up anything.

A person is always killed with a wrong decision because according to it he thinks right because he does what he feels right but nature and its wrong decision are not fixed for the coming time. That is why they make good decisions by believing in money but it is the rule of the world where every wasteful spending or decision that is not according to you becomes a sorrow in the life of a person. Therefore, investing money in the wrong place is harmful for your coming time. We should try to collect our money as much as possible and take advantage of it according to our mood. If your business is good enough. If you have come to show money in the world, then you will have to work hard for the world like Elon Musk. Even he does not show off after having so much money.
Building a Secure Future According to finance, it's very important how we manage our income. I think positive decisions help a lot to shape a successful career, but sometimes people make decisions that are based on emotions and no proper research is involved; people feel comfortable with their feelings and they just do financial activities for temporary satisfaction. If we save money and invest it properly, then we manage it and, in an actual way we get financial stability. Many individuals of us just save money wisely, but along with saving, finding the right direction of investing is the actual part of a successful career. So Elon Musk is a live example for us to learn how to achieve our goals and how to show patience in hard times. If we learn this pattern, then gradually we could be able to calculate the risk in any investment
