About it, we are our problem. Out leaders are the reason we are where we are today. Thank God that the Bokina Faso president is trying to change things. Some African leaders to. But our country here, we are still were we are. No change of reasoning, no thoughts, nothing to show for. They prefer sleeping in good buildings and hotels outside county than sleeping here.

You can’t say there’s no good leader just because someone fail to keep his promise or didn’t do as expected. If we keep judging everyone of them like that, then what exactly are we looking for when we go out and vote? We may not have a perfect choice but it does not mean that we should stop expecting better.
And honestly telling people to just find a way to leave the country is not the solution if we all claim to want a better Nigeria. If everyone decides to leave the country, then who stays? Not everyone has that option. We shouldn’t give up on our country because of bad leadership.

I agree with you. Those people are not worth to be called leaders, all they are there for is to steal the nation resources and divert everything to themselves. Again, Tinubu victory in the last election was totally questionable because I don't think the election was free and fair. If not for the bad system of our electoral process in Nigeria I don't think any of them would smell that seat, not to talk of coming back the next time.

What is the age bracket of an average African leader? in most cases, they are mostly in their 70s upwards and with that, it practically means that they have less than 20 active years to remain on this earth. their children are mostly grown up and are not leaving in Africa to start with some what does the future of Africa mean to them?

It even start from local government chairman that stays in the city to govern their LGA that is a rural area and we have a lot of state governors that govern their state while residing in Abuja and what do you now expect from leadership at the apex level? As long as we are comfortable with old people serving as our leaders, we should expect that they will invest in their children and build future for them outside the shores of Africa leaving our continent the way it is now for years.

The truth is that the government knows how its citizens are suffering, but the majority of them are making little effort to make things better, and the fact they don't make use of the things here in Nigeria as their children attend school abroad; whenever they encounter any health issues, they fly abroad for treatment, and their whole structure and investments are abroad and their lives too.
Honestly, this has made me wonder if they became politicians to steal money or travel half the world.

With the resources Nigeria has, nothing is impossible to achieve over here because there are resources and money in the country, but our leaders prefer to take pennies and sell off our resources to foreign powers.

It was a very shameful experience because how is it that 7 hospitals said they were on strike, it is very ridiculous because in a developed country you can never hear such and if any hospital tries that the government will shut it down because they value human lives unlike Africa that are even looking for ways to reduce the population.

The truth is that there is some set of people that has monopolized the government, they don't see government as what belongs to the people and whomever that assumes any office in Nigeria they will want you to dance to their tune otherwise they will kill the person. Example is Yar'adua, he's one of the best president that Nigeria produced but what happened when they saw that he was going contrary to how they want the country to be runned? They sent a protracted illness to him and called it pericarditis and kidney failure.

Most of the problems in the country are caused by corruption, that is the first medicine we need in the government. Whoever becomes the President, Nigeria needs to be led by someone who is not corrupt and can combat corruption, it flows down into appointing who leads with him across various arms of the government, it doesn't stop until it goes through all sectors of the military and police force.

The election is coming, vote according to the record, aside from Sowere, all the candidates have held government offices before, do your investigation before thumb printing on that day of election, 4 years is a long time to go through another hell.
