When life gets tough in your home country, the first thing that comes to your mind is to travel abroad, which is also very natural to want an escape. We see many people around us packing up their lives, searching for a better place and opportunity with these mindset that a new country will give them a fresh start. Meanwhile, you might travel to a country that is even economically worse than your home country, what happens then? Regret? In reality you aren't escaping the heat, you are just jumping from a frying pan to fire.
I think no one make such a big decision like moving abroad without thinking about its consequences. If someone is leaving his country and moving to another country for financial relief or whatever it is so obviously he do some research first and will also do some proper planning. Nobody wants to spend their savings leave his family his home his country to save new problems in another country. In every country their is difficulties so it doesn’t mean that moving abroad is a bad decision. No country is perfect but sometimes in other countries you find some opportunities that are not in your country like their are many poor countries in which they have lack of opportunities for their people or public so then they have only one option to move abroad. So if a person has done proper research and planning before taking this step and have understand the challenges so its a good chance for him to make his future better.

That's a good point and anybody that intends to migrate to another nation should be cautious before making that decision. Besides migration cannot solve the problems of the country you're migrating from, especially because of a bad economy. If you observe some African countries like Nigeria, most of the people migrating are educated people like maybe doctors, nurses, and engineers. They underestimated their country's economy and just want to be financially stable. Instead of leaving the country because of the bad situation, they should stay and build their country with that knowledge. That is how our people are building other people's nations with knowledge that is supposed to benefit our Nation.

I'm not saying traveling to another country is a mistake, for people fleeing conflicts, natural disaster or direct danger, traveling to somewhere safe should be your top priority, but when it comes to economic choices, moving out of pure hope without a realistic plan or research usually leads to disappointment and sometimes you get scammed in the process.
Can't agree more. When you show your desperation to an agent that you want to leave, they will scam you in ways you can't imagine. A saying is so famous here that "no matter how clever you are, an agent can still scam you," haha.

So moving out is never easy for a country that has a bad reputation, and visa processing has a lot of delays, rejections, etc. So the majority have to use illegal ways. They can't do much with those ways either, so in the end, they have to find something to work with in their own country.

But they are already living in a fire, so they don't care if they are moving to another fire. They just want their position to change and want to do something good by working hard, not following the footsteps of those youngsters who these days are carrying out wrench attacks and stealing millions.

There is no how people will just wake up one morning to travel abroad and end up I'm a country that's worst more than their home countries, that's not intelligent, they make search and compare their economy with the country of choice economy before make the move, navigating for a better life is normal,  at times your home country might be delaying your vision due to some political decisions, it's always a wise thing to do to survive.

Like my country Nigeria where things are not working,  we lack constant electricity and lack of employment by the government, things are really hard here, many people are relocating to Europe, and America for a better life. There is no country in Europe that you will go and you will not have electricity and a job to pay bills, but here in Nigeria there is not hope.

Here in our country, migrating to another country can be considered a blessing, as long as it offers a better economy and more opportunities. Life here in our country is so hard that people can endure suffering in other countries as long as it's bearable; everyone's goal here is to migrate or work abroad.
But of course, they also need to check what to expect; they cannot go there just to leave. Our people also understand the risks of migrating or going to work abroad; we are resilient, but also know our limitations

It is never easy relocating to a new country where your culture and systems differs greatly, that is why it is important to know what you are going there for. And one should also have it in mind that settling in a new country takes time. Give yourself atleast 3-5 years before things start getting clearer.
I think it is lack of discipline, determination and patience that makes alot of people regret their decision of relocating. Life is not rosey anywhere, but when you find yourself in a country with a working system it’s only a matter of time for you to settle in.

Relocating to another country is not always the first thing that comes to mind, these people have tried to adapt to the environment, and it is not working for them before they make plans to relocate. It also depends on what you are looking for. Some rich people relocate for reasons to give their children the best education and proper health care, some also due to security reasons, and any reason to relocate is valid.

I'm proud of my roots, but i won't decline an opportunity to relocate if i am given the chance to decide where i want to live.

You don't need 3 years to blend in to another environment unless you decide to lock your self at home and not doing anything. There is 12 months in a year, that's a very long days in those months that you can take to blend with people. If you have a job, you will get to learn about your environment, makes friends and know the kind of people you live with, but I believe you should even understand where you are going before you embark on the process of traveling.

If you are married, it looks easy to travel without been bored. Life in other places are bored that you will have to find a way to meet people. Sometimes, you may be interested to even start a simple relationship with people and they will not be interested to have something with you. Going with your family, wife or girlfriend makes it easy.

I think it makes sense to move from your current country in search of a better one even though the reason you want to live is not because of any natural disaster or war. Economy disaster is enough reason to look for a better live elsewhere because you will not know if your destiny is in another country and not the one you were born in. There has been many people that became immigrants and got a better life that they would have not gotten if they did not travel out of their country hence do not hesitate to leave for greener pastures. You are not suppose to be suffering hence do not believe that you shou stay in the current situation because there is always a better life out in the world.

If you are a business man or investor nothing will make you to travel to another country that will not add value to your business or investment, I have seen many investors leaving their own country to settle down to other country and they are making income more than their own country because other countries value their products, but if you travel to a country that your own country is better than and you settle down there to operate your business, it will make you regret because the income you are making daily or monthly in your own country is no longer coming and it will make your business to collapse if you don't take a decision that will save your business.

It is very difficult moving to another country. It is also very expensive, Visas and settling down. Resources that could have been saved or used to build something stable at home. When families spend everything they have just to relocate to another country facing high inflation, lack of job, and poor infrastructure the situation actually gets worse. Instead of finding financial relief, migrant often end up trapped in a deeper poverty, unable to support themselves or send help back to the love ones relying on them.

As much as Japa has become very expensive this days, there are still ways to Japa without spending very much money. You just ned to understand that you want to achieve this feet but you don't have the money. This alone awaken you to avenues to explore to achieve that. Some of such avenues are through scholarships to study, job sponsorships and fully funded relocation programs. So again, people relocate nowadays with their family without been rich and comfortable in their home country and some of us will not regret leaving anytime, any day.
