Every single Investor play their separate roles in the market, it doesn't matter big or small. As long as you are consistent with your purchase of bitcoin you already play a role in bitcoin adoption..

I agree with watin you talk senior man, no body really small for the mark based on say every Bitcoiner really they contribute to price, it might not really be so significant the way it would be when institutions are buying with billions of dollars, it can have a temporary spike in price but might not be so for small investors like us, but as long as any small Bitcoiner they buy consistently, he or she is contributing.

While in trading, most of the small traders are usually the existing liquidity for the big traders,  the small traders are not able to move the market because they have small money but when banks trade with billions, if the small traders are in opposite directions, the market will ake their money and give to the big traders.

I don't think small investors actually have any influence in the market especially when it comes to the price. Even if a region panic sell and another region is buying it's not a constant that it must affect the general market.

In turn large investors may stand a chance to influence the market if there is a joint decision by major stake holders and this is simply because they own majority. It's nothing new that investors with larger quantities could affect the market it's just that's most of them don't reveal what they own.
Small investors don’t influence the market that much to be noticed, but they also have their role to play in the market. The market can be for the large investors alone, if they sell at once it affects the market as usual, but without them, the market remains and the small investors are still there in the market; therefore, everyone have their role to play in the market.

Quote
If they are anonymously accumulating bitcoin in very large quantities it's probably because they have long term goals too just like the investors that buy in smaller amounts or just storing their wealth.
Yes, they have target and this should tell people who has been given up on Bitcoin to wake up and invest because these big companies are buying Bitcoin, they know that it is a way to make huge amount of money in the future even though some of them will want to take control of the market, but I trust Bitcoin, it will never be taken over.

I want people to understand that even as they are accumulating Bitcoin, it still won't guarantee that it will rise. This will save you from making impulse decisions in Bitcoin. Everyone should accumulate Bitcoin according to their strengths. Don't be pressured to accumulate Bitcoin. Do it at a pace you are comfortable with and do it in such a way you won't be at a loss, what I am trying to say is do it wisely. If you understand price action, you can use that to your advantage.

If you think buying and selling does not affect the price then what exactly did you think could make the price to increase? This has been said here number of times that the movement of bitcoin is based on the demand and supply, bitcoin is not like shitcoin that usually get hyped. So i don't quite agree with you when you Said that buying bitcoin does not determine if the price will increase, although i can relate to what you're saying of course if you're referring to the purchase that we ordinary investors are making of course it may not have any effect in the price of bitcoin. if we are talking about the demand and supply we are referring to those bigger companies that are ongoingly buying bitcoin there purchase is likely to shake the market a bit.

Despite the huge amount that these institutions are investing on Bitcoin, we still have lots of retail investors that have been holding Bitcoin in their self custody and those that are still buying more, plus traders too, is you sum up the money that all retail investors and traders are putting into Bitcoin, it's actually huge, which tells you that every Bitcoiners plays a role. Price is driven by supply and demand, so every investors is actually contributing, not just the companies buying huge amount.
Institutional buyers don't use Bitcoin every day, if the market relies on them each day, we won't have daily circulations in the market that will help keep the price experiencing high volatility, retail investors are important, so are the institutional buyers, but i think retail investors and traders are the ones helping the market stay more alive than a few times buying from large investors.

Bitcoin's volatility has reduced over the years, and we can observe that there is no significant pump or dump reaction when these news fly around compared to the previous years. Both retail and institutional buyers are important for bitcoin circulation, retailers keep the market running on a daily basis while waiting for the institutional buyers to make that massive buy or sell order that largely influences the market.

On this i don't know if i will go straight to the point by saying the influencing or propelling force of bitcoin have been compromised and redirected from it's original fluctuating power to a political influencing entity now, before this day buying and selling served as the major factor responsible for its price increment which was why bitcoin experienced and always obey that fluctuating operational pattern but now its completely different.
Although I will still be supportive and hopeful that it will hold its ground and that change eliminated so its volatility returned to normal and bitcoin can experience significant pump or dumped reactions as it is supposed to be.

Every role is very important and unique in their own way and non should be belittled in any form, this is natural int the sense that there can never be an equality regarding financial positions, interest and goals that is why every one only have to play a role that is just within their means and capacity, small investors and traders play their own role in their own way and of course their input and output  are significant in the market which contributes and makes the market very interesting too.

Quit limiting youself to just judging it with a single small investor. Because if you do that then become of the limited number, the investor may not be able to influence the market, but how about you look at when it is done collectively. Have it heard this saying before that a drop of water makes an ocean huh?

Afraik, those thousand and few dollar that small investor uses can appear small when you look at it individually, but if you multiply it by millions and billions of small investor in this world that want to invest, you will see that that effort together effort can affect the price of the market. And the same thing will also be like that when they all because of fear sell their stash. So every investor can all influence the market.

The whales may have bigger roles to play but I think those that are buying small quality of Bitcoin are also helping the market to grow gradually. Since the market is not only for the big investors, we don't have to be expect whales buy positions to dominant the market alone , the only part I know that whales buying or selling can have huge influence is when they buy or sell in bulk.

Hope you are aware that institutional investors are not just the companies that buy large amount of Bitcoin and hold it for long term profit sake, like corporate treasuries such as Strategy (Formally; Micro Strategy) and it's not only about the management of investment funds and Bitcoin ETF like BlackRock and Fidelity do. Institutional participation in Bitcoin goes far beyond companies managing investment funds to accumulate Bitcoin for a long term holding.

We have institutions like the commercial and investment banks who provides brokerage, custody, financing, market access and other trading services, we have Hedge funds (Whales that are no match for retail Bitcoin investors) they trade Bitcoin using leverage, hedge positions and exploit arbitrage opportunities. There are other institutions apart from this one's I listed who are moving the market, providing the liquidity that you are seeing every day. So, you are not completely correct in what you said.

If their are not traders in the market, the market will hardly move an inch, and that is why they are called the market movers, unlike most whales that will just buy and hold unto the asset without selling. And one thing most people do not understand is that if it is only the whales or holders we have in the market, their will be less volatility in the market because no one is buying and selling, and be moving the market up and down, so everyone in the market is very important, not just the whales that buys in bulk and hold.
