What is your opinion about Gram aka TON coin?

I haven't heard so much about gram lately in any community. Based on the current price movement, it seems it's dying. Even though the price of BTC has pumped for a few days, gram is still bearish.
Even though this project has tons of activity from their GitHub, I don't see big investors going to bet on Gram. Why did they come up with changing the coin name into Gram? It looks like they take the name of MoneyGram.

For me, for now, it's too risky buying and hold this, as you can see it's a stable price down unless we see that this is going to be hype, but no one, so many people, mention this except you.

I have mixed feeling about it, I believe this coin can grow even though they failed to take advantage of the hype of mini apps hosted on telegram platform which heavily utilizes the TON blockchain but the name GRAM is sanctioned by the SEC in 2020 with the $1.7 billion fundraising. The SEC then released an injunction to prohibit distribution of GRAM token to the investors. They also got fined for $18 million which resulted in cancellation of the fundraising.

Long story short, TON got released after that and now they want to rebrand their token to GRAM again which may rule out possibility of being adopted by financial institutions because of the associated history. So, I don't really put much hopes in this coin and not investing in it Never really used their blockchain as well.

I knew about TON during the tap-to-earn airdrop era in 2024, there was even a tap to earn airdrop that rewarded some persons with the TON coin while some of those projects later started to asked members to claim their tokens using TON as fee. It was only during that period that I saw the coin trending, it didn't do a better during the bull season, the all time high was since 2024, if the coin was really of value, it should have pumped to a new all time high in 2025. The project looks so quite, I won't consider it.
