Aside from the fact the Binance pool is going to close on the 10th of November and that you should withdraw any earnings and migrate to another pool before that date, Binance has just been hacked. We are talking a couple billion dollars, so there is a good chance the entire entity of Binance may collapse, and thus any further earnings at their pool are at a very high risk starting RIGHT NOW.

Yeah I have almost no coins on any exchanges.

My coins are on core and on trezor.

That is if it is not too late. Binance has somehow disabled withdrawal on their exchange in a way that the withdrawal is not disabled. If you want to withdraw, it will be pending. That is what people are complaining about now. I just hope people using Binance pool will be able to withdraw their money. This is just one of the disadvantages of exchanges. Binance have SAFU, but they are unable to let the coins stolen to be lesser than the SAFU. That is very bad of the exchange.

This is why I don't keep funds on Binance for any reason.

Although since the pool is closing in 10 days, it's diabolical to me that anybody would be using it.

Running a small pool myself, and when we shut down a coin or endpoint the thing people forget is the tail: shares already accepted but not yet in a payout cycle. If you mined Binance Pool this week, do not assume the last payout covers it. Get your balance out before the 10th, not on the 9th, because if withdrawals are already pending-limbo now, that queue will only get worse near the deadline.

Since I got into the crypto space, this year has got to be the most uncertain for me - there’s been so many hacks than I can count in the last 8 months, it’s so bad that some exchanges had to close down. Is it that hackers have become better with AI as a tool or is it the exchanges that are slacking off lately with their cybersecurity.
