Yes, I agree with you that hackers know very well how to ask AI what they want to know and how to get the information they want. Although AI never helps them with any information that hackers can use to harm people. If you ever ask AI how to make poison, AI will never answer you. But if you ask the same question a little differently, which things are poisonous and how to survive them, AI will give you a list of ideas and will advise you on its own what poison is. If you can casually send AI to steal somebody's crypto from their wallet, hack into a platform that holds funds or hack into a bank to steal from their vault I believe that the world would be in a panic by now because loses would be imminent, AI cannot directly steal for anybody. I also understand the misconception of some people in the industry, especially how AI helping hacker news is spreading without properly identifying where Ai helps and what they actually do. I still remember a story of how hackers used AI tools to fake real facial identity of top leaders in a company and then instructed them during a kind of meeting online to send some funds and the managers did so thinking it was their bosses. Only later to discover that it was AI tools that created the visual resemblance and was used in deceiving them.
