No one ever likes losing money especially when it comes to trading losses but on the other hand, trading is, after all, a risky activity, and losses can occur at any time, even if you’ve used your best strategy. This means you should be mentally prepared to handle losses, because in my opinion, when someone can accept losses, they’re less likely to seek revenge on the market. Therefore, never trade beyond your means.

Controlling one's emotions can be very difficult man, you have to be in another level of discipline to do that, I have clearly told my self to avoid doing such and even more, but sometimes I still see myself doing it and I freez for a moment trying to get if I was the one that actually broke my own rule.

As a matter of fact I'm trying my best to be disciplined in that aspect, and I will not condemn any one in that situation because I know how it feels, I will only encourage every one in this situation to try to be strong and avoid losses like these.

I would still emphasize on why knowledge and adherence to risk management practices is best before even being consistent with trading activities because this post is one of the reasons why.
The emotional outrage or psychological impact of revenge trading tends to more loss of capital and appetite to continue trading in the future because of lack of risk management practices and that's why it's important to master risk management so as to avoid such scenarios where ego and emotional panic take over common sense of which turns losses in capital loss.

The thing is that there's always bound to be losses and there's always bound to be upset in the market movement, so it's better to know that and keep it in the back of your mind than to be surprised and react erratically when it happens. So at that point, it's a good advice to step back or step away, take a break if possible and never try to force the market to try to pay you back for the losses so far incurred.

Well, to me, I have a set of rules, including for revenge trade. I strictly follow the rules and never break them because I am sure it's a disaster if I don't follow my own rules; it would only end up losing a huge amount in a single day.

If you don't have a set of rules, you can't filter them out and avoid them, and it also needs discipline. Before, honestly, I couldn't avoid those revenge trading, but after learning from those mistakes, I never do that again because my 1st account's whole capital is being liquidated due to revenge and overtrading.

Revenge trading is the fastest means to liquidation by a trader. If you’re not able to make up your mind that trading can come in two ways, the wins and the losses and be okay with whichever happens, you’ll always have a reason to fight the market to collect back your already lost money which in real sense you’re suppose to avoid yourself from being in such state.

By doing so, you’re breaking your rules and by breaking your rules, you’re also tempering with your capital which can result into more losses and eventually liquidation. Once you feel that the market is unfair and you want your money back, just know that emotion has set in and won’t allow you for a proper reasonable approach in the market which easily turns into more losses and probably liquidation.

If your trading portfolio is in loss, stop selling at that time but if you have excess funds, buy gradually. This method will reduce the unit price in the portfolio. Most experienced traders follow this method because stopping will only increase your frustration. It is more important to stop panic selling during market volatility which is a common tendency among new traders. I always advise beginners to use an amount of funds that you have available as surplus and can afford to lose.
Trading is not about showing revenge. You have to make decisions and face all situations with patience because there will be fear of losing capital on the trading platform and there will be hype to be tempted by others.

I suggest you take a break and leaving the market. It is to introspect the mistake you made so you can see how to fix in the next trades. You can return to the market after the cooling down so you can analyze carefully and not think about revenge trading.

Revenge trading is not really good, that's why as traders if we see that the activity in the trade we are doing is a bit salty,
let's take a break for a while then come back another day, that's all.
