As long as it is Bitcoin, it worth learning about, and if the you can understand Bitcoin clearly, its purpose of creation and how it has saved so many of us from inflation and will keep saving us if we keep investing in Bitcoin. Therefore, the OP should be thinking of how to be using the DCA method to accumulate more Bitcoin instead of taking profit and be putting the money into another investment.

And mind you, Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme that the OP will expect quick profit from, the OP should rather learn about Bitcoin well before making his/her decision because it requires patience and understanding to be able to be successful on their Bitcoin journey.

I agree but at the same time I must say that writing your seed phrase on paper is best for privacy concern. One can then seal that paper in a  secure type of box to save it from burns or any other type of damages. Also, one can memorize the seed phrase as well if it's only 12 words long, and I know a few people who have memorized their seed phrases and they keep repeating it everyday so they won't forget it over time.

Just write a note to someone you trust and tell them what to do. Do NOT include your seed. These two tips are much more important for a beginner than having a perfect air gap setup.

This is not about how much you have. It doesn't cost you anything, takes 5 minutes and as a beginner you're likely to forget to do it later. There are two possible ways you can get controlled by bitcoin. 1.  Poor financial planning i.e Investing without sorting out your important bills, not having discretionary income, investing beyond your cash. 2. Mindset I.e you don't have enough patience during when the market isn't moving well, selling your Bitcoin in short term because of the little profit the market has given you, lastly having high expectations.  This two can force to make wrong decisions at the wrong times and destroy your long term plan. You need to understand that Bitcoin is an investment not something that should be dictate or control you.

Have a clear financial plan, invest the money you can afford to lose. Also  give your investment enough time to grow , whereby stop thinking that it could make you rich overnight.....

The more secure we want to be, the lower the chances of recovering our funds if we lose our memory.

Keeping money in a bank is easy and losing it is also easy but as long as there is no problem with the bank your funds will remain yours in any situation even if you lose your memory.

The bigger issue is the single point of failure. If your only seed backup sits in a bank vault, you've effectively made your Bitcoin access dependent on one institution (the bank). A bank closure, frozen access, legal seizure or even a (local) disaster could leave you unable to access your funds ... That's exactly the kind of dependency self-custody is supposed to eliminate. Multiple geographically separated backups under your own control are a much better approach imo.

To be clear:
If you keep independent copies in separate locations under your own control, a bank vault can be part of a reasonable redundancy strategy. But it should never be the single place you depend on to recover your Bitcoin.

Knowing what you are investing in, how it works and being intentionally disciplined to not mismanage your Bitcoin portfolio after investing in it is just the simple and easy way to staying successful with your Bitcoin investment. Because buying bitcoin early is not a guarenteed factor that you will make profit from it, but being disciplined enough to not sell it due to uncertainty and doubt is one key factor that will determine if you will be successful. And thats why we always advocate people using their discretionary income in investing in Bitcoin.

I don't know what you mean by "managed or controlled by Bitcoin" but I'm sure you want tips on how to manage it. I think what others have said already covers what you need to properly manage your Bitcoin and you just need to follow that. It might be a bit confusing if you're a beginner, because there are probably a lot of terms you're new to. But everyone here also started as a beginner, no one became an expert right away. So take your time and start learning, you will be able to understand how to manage it properly.
