EXCAL ↔ BTC Atomic Swap — Update, 2026-11-03
Status update on the atomic swap offer. No completed swap yet — this is a status update, not a completion claim.
Live now on the EXCAL fork:
• Fork tip: 40,056 (2026-11-03)
• HTLC live since 36,010
• Bridge lock live since 39,200
• QHTLC (quantum HTLC) live since 40,040 — the tip passed activation today
New since the last post:
• ECDSA + Schnorr signing integrated and tested: ECDSA signs the SegWit v0 P2WSH claim/refund, Schnorr signs a Taproot HTLC variant (BIP340 + BIP341). Test run: 20/20, no funds moved, nothing broadcast in testing.
• Taker verification kit: a standalone Python script you can run on your own machine to recompute the witness script, the P2WSH address, the Taproot leaves and address, and the timeout safety check — before you fund anything. No keys, no secret, nothing signed or sent by the kit.
• Atomic swap portal: offer, live status, how both ledgers update, an in-browser lock verifier, and a swap request form. The portal never asks for a key, never signs, and never broadcasts.

○ Source:
https://github.com/Holedozer1229/Excalibur-EXSOffer, unchanged:
• 1 EXCAL = 1 BTC, no spread, no operator fee, chain fees only
• Up to 47.75 per swap, repeatable — the ceiling is not an amount. A small pilot first is suggested.
• You lock BTC first, then I lock EXCAL, same secret hash, then you claim EXCAL (revealing the secret) and I claim BTC with it. Timeouts: BTC 144 blocks (~24h), EXCAL 288 fork blocks (~5.4h).
• A fresh secret is generated per swap and its hash is given at offer time — never reused across takers.
To take the first swap:
Reply with your compressed taker pubkey and the exact amount. I will reply with the fresh secret hash, the BTC timeout, and the exact lock transactions for you to verify (with the kit or the portal verifier) before you fund anything. Nothing moves on a yes alone.

Small pilot now open — first BTC/EXCAL atomic swap, 0.01–0.1 BTC
Adding a smaller first step to the atomic swap offer, to make the first live swap easier to say yes to.
The pilot:
• 0.01–0.1 BTC for the same amount in EXCAL, 1:1, no spread, no operator fee, chain fees only
• Recording rule: if you send 0.01 BTC, you record 0.01 EXCAL. Amount in = amount recorded, at any amount up to the 47.75 ceiling.
• You lock BTC first, then I lock EXCAL, same secret hash
• You claim EXCAL (revealing the secret), then I claim BTC with it
• Timeouts: BTC 144 blocks (~24h at 10 min/block), EXCAL 288 fork blocks (wall time varies with fork pace — confirmed from live tip pace at lock time; the EXCAL lock expires first in wall time, so you must claim EXCAL before its timeout, and I then claim BTC before the BTC timeout)
• After a pilot completes, larger swaps repeat on the same terms, up to 47.75 per swap
Why a pilot first:
It proves the whole loop live — lock, claim, secret reveal, second claim, both txids public — at a size that doesn't ask a first taker to lock a large amount on an unproven pair. EXCAL has no exchange listing, so the 1:1 rate here is an offered rate, not a market price, and the pilot is the honest way to test it.
What's live on the fork today (2026-11-03):
• Fork tip: 40,445
• HTLC live since 36,010 · Bridge lock activation 39,200, live from 39,203 · QHTLC live since 40,040
• ECDSA (P2WSH) + Schnorr (Taproot) signing tested: 20/20, nothing broadcast in testing
• A fresh secret is generated per swap — never reused across takers

Added 2026-11-03 evening: zkSync wURUU bonding-curve
bridge atomic swap — PROPOSED, NOT LIVE
This section is a proposal, not a live offer. Do not fund
it until a contract is deployed, audited in public, and
the bridge is opened by its own terms below.
• URUU on zkSync Era mainnet is LIVE: 0x5B6C9d85465Cc6FFe84039183872239657D90208,
100,000,000 supply, 18 decimals, zkSync liquidity ZERO
at last check.
• wURUU (WrappedUruu.sol, zkSync Era wrapper, 1:1, no
owner/fees/pause, tests 16/16) is BUILT, NOT DEPLOYED.
The Solana wURUU bonding-curve program is TO BUILD.
• Bonding curve (simulator only, $0 raised, no contract
has sold anything): P(s) = p0 * ln(1 + s/s0) / ln(phi),
s0 = 1,000,000 wURUU, p0 = 0.00001 SOL per wURUU,
initial price $0.0015 at the file's $150 SOL assumption.
Projection at 10M sold: 0.00004983 SOL, 340.33 SOL raised
— a simulator projection, not a sale, and SOL price
must be rechecked at deployment time, not assumed $150.
• Bridge rule from the file itself: bridge opens AFTER
the bonding curve establishes a price floor. Users bridge
URUU → Solana when wURUU price > zkSync cost.
Until then, no bridge, no bridge atomic swap.
• Proposed atomic-swap shape (when built): URUU lock on
zkSync Era ↔ wURUU lock on Solana, same secret hash,
fresh secret per swap, timeouts from live chain tips,
exact locks for approval before funding — the same
BTC-first discipline as the BTC/EXCAL pilot, applied
to URUU/wURUU. No HTLC, bridge contract, or adapter
is verified as working today: adapter code presence on
Era (Wormhole/LayerZero guards) is code presence only,
NOT a verified working bridge.
• This proposed lane does NOT change the BTC/EXCAL pilot
above. Pilot first, bridge second, in that order.
To take the pilot:
Reply with your compressed taker pubkey and the exact amount
(0.01–0.1 BTC). I'll reply with the fresh secret hash, the
BTC timeout, and the exact lock transactions for you to
verify before you fund anything. Nothing moves on a yes alone.
