I created this thread because I was curious what users check on a gambling site before depositing their crypto to play the games. I am brand new to gambling.
THE REASON

There are several platforms where you can report scams against a casino. I like using casinos that are well known on the forum. The scam accusation section has a format for such reports.

I agree with @DPHOR, you should try to experience gambling first. ( try many gambling sites)

At first before you should be using any gambling site you should try as much as possible to know if their license is legitimate or not, at least for license it can be trackable or traceable.
Again, when you talked about kyc, you should endeavor to read their ToS to know what actually they requires from the gamblers and if their terms are not suitable with you then I advise for you to stay clear from that gambling site.
How to know about reviews, to be frank I wouldn't encourage you to starts looking after reviews from those reviewing sites because they can easily be paid off just to make good comments about them. The best place to have the best reviews is on the forum here, because here they mostly do with trust and whenever a casino misbehave or cheats you would see people given them tags as they have misbehaved.
In summary, I wouldn't advised before using any gambling site make sure to check their reviews here , and if the gambling site is not listed here, you can post about them for people to know and gives you feedback before jumping into that gambling site.

You could visit the scam accusation board to see if there is a report about the casino. An easier way to do that is to use the forum search engine or just use google search and add the keyword “bitcointalk” at the beginning or end. Also check if the casino has an ANN thread on the forum, and what the community has to say about the platform.

If you are referring to this forum, do not first the reviews from newbies and new members. I do not think this is common, but if you see it, do not trust it. You can trust the reviews from ranked members. Especially, if they are many.

There are sites that also pay some participants to review their sites for them. In this also, I trust reviews from ranked members.

Reviews on other sites. What I noticed is that you can trust the low or poor ratings and reviews than high rated ones.

About bonuses, do not join a gambling site because of their bonuses for you not to see it as a trap. No matter how good the gambling sites are, bonuses to new customers are trap to make them use their gambling sites.

First of all, I want to say that if you want to try any gambling site, then by looking at the ANN threads on this forum, you will understand which ones are more popular and especially those that have their signature campaigns already running, you can try them. If the users there use Casino X, then I am more likely to use Casino X, and believe what they say about it,,, those are the trusted opinions of people who have years of experience gambling in crypto.

But the thing is, for a newbie in gambling, he needs to experience gambling in certain casino first to check if the casino is trustable or not. Its still different if you experience it on your own rather than relying on other gamblers how they rate the casino, or if they find the casino trustable or not.

I started gambling on a casino before without minding those reviews and feedbacks. Because for me, as long as I bet on a small amount, losing will never be an issue. Until I manage to establish trust on my favorite casino, not because other gamblers are trusting it, but because I've got to experience it on my own, and with my own hard-earned money.

But as for feedback that comes from the members of this forum, if 30% is fake, the remaining 70% will be nothing but the trut, because there are members who are trying their best to verify every single information that appears in the forum, especially if it has to do with money.

Yeah for sure,,, but if a newbie reads this thread and understands how the majority of people on this forum rely on a trust network hopefully they also avoid many scams and just play at the ones we play at

+1 If someone in my trust list or one of the top 50 gambling users here says Casino A is good,,, that is good enough for me. Better than 1000 trustpilot reviews of people I have no idea about.
