SlicePot
Your bet is your slice. The winner takes the pot.
PvP Wheel  |  Lottery Jackpot  |  10,000 USDT Weekly Race  |  $5 free, no deposit

████████████████████████████████████████

>>> slicepot.com <<<

12 games - every game provably fair - TRX, TON, ETH, BNB, USDT, USDC

Provably Fair spec  |  Round verifier

Games:  PvP Wheel  |  Lottery  |  Dice  |  Limbo  |  Crash  |  Plinko  |  Keno  |  Mines  |  HiLo  |  Blackjack  |  Alien Road  |  Star Bonanza

■ WHAT IS SLICEPOT

SlicePot is a crypto casino built around one idea: in our flagship game, your bet is your slice and the winner takes the pot.

In the PvP Wheel, every player's bet becomes a slice of the wheel. Bet $10 into a $100 pot and you hold 10% of the wheel, which means a 10% chance to win the whole pot. When betting closes, the winning ticket comes from the public drand randomness beacon combined with our pre-committed server seed, so nobody, including us, can pick the winner after bets are in.

Next to the Wheel we run a lineup of 10 in-house originals (Dice, Limbo, Crash, Plinko, Mines, Blackjack and more) and a drand-based Lottery with an hourly Quick Draw and a weekly Jackpot. No third-party slots, no hidden RTP settings: every number below is the real one.

■ THE NUMBERS - FULL TRANSPARENCY

We know this forum is full of people who can do the math, so here it is.

Game     RTP     House edge     Max win
Wheel (PvP)97%3% fee per betthe whole pot
Lottery96%4%The Pot (weekly jackpot)
Blackjack99.43%0.57%2.5x
Dice98%2%980x
Limbo98%2%10,000x
Crash98%2%1,000x
Plinko98%2%990x
Keno98%2%992x
Mines98%2%5,000,000x
HiLo98%2%1,000,000x
Alien Road98%2%3,200,000x
Star Bonanza97%3%200,000x

How we make money - in plain words:

  • Wheel: we take a 3% fee from every bet and the winner receives the remaining 97% of the pot. Example: 3 players bet $10, $20 and $70. The pot is $100, the fee is $3, the winner gets $97.
  • Originals and Lottery: the house edge is the difference between 100% and the RTP. On Dice, for every $100 wagered, players get back $98 on average and the house keeps $2 over the long run. In the short run the house can and does lose.
  • Where the edge goes: up to 50% of the house edge is paid out to referrers (see below). So on a $100 Dice volume, up to $1 goes to whoever invited the player.

■ PROVABLY FAIR - HOW TO VERIFY A ROUND

Every game on SlicePot is provably fair. There are four algorithms, all public at slicepot.com/fairness. Each one is immutable: any change ships as a new version, never as a silent edit.

Algorithm     Games     Randomness
PVPHUB_WHEEL_V2Wheelserver seed + drand beacon
SLICEPOT_LOTTERY_V1Lotteryserver seed + drand beacon
SLICEPOT_CRASH_V1Crashserver seed + drand beacon
SLICEPOT_ORIGINALS_V1All other originalsserver seed + your client seed + nonce

What is drand?
drand is a public randomness network run by the League of Entropy, a group of independent organizations that includes Cloudflare, Protocol Labs and several universities. Every 3 seconds the network publishes a new random number, called a round. Each round has a number and a fixed time, so everyone knows in advance when round #X will appear, but nobody can know what it will be until it does.

  • No single party controls it. Each round is produced jointly by many independent nodes and signed with a threshold BLS signature. Even if some nodes collude, they can't predict or change the result.
  • Anyone can check it. Every round stays public forever at api.drand.sh, and its signature can be verified by anyone, including our in-browser verifier.
  • We can't steer it. We name the target round before betting opens, and that round only appears after betting closes. So when bets come in, the number that decides the result doesn't exist yet, for us or for anyone else.

Think of it as agreeing in advance: "the winner will be decided by the number an independent committee draws at 15:00:03 tomorrow." We mix that number with our own pre-committed server seed, so drand alone can't pick the winner either.

Wheel
Round lifecycle
  • Before betting: we publish serverSeedHash = SHA256(serverSeed) and the exact future drand round that will be used (targetDrandRound).
  • Betting: all bets are written into a manifest, and its SHA256 hash (manifestHash) is fixed.
  • Draw: the drand Quicknet beacon for targetDrandRound is fetched and its BLS signature checked. combinedRandomness = SHA256(serverSeed + ":" + drandRandomness).
  • Winner: an unbiased ticket in [0, totalBank) is derived via rejection sampling. Every player owns a contiguous ticket range equal to their bet in cents.
  • After settlement: serverSeed is revealed and you can recalculate everything yourself.

Why it matters: we commit to our seed before bets and we cannot know the drand value in advance. drand cannot know our seed. Neither side can steer the result.

Verify a Wheel round yourself

Cancel rule: if a round has fewer than 2 unique players, or the beacon is late or fails, the round is cancelled and every bet is refunded in full. The seed is still revealed so you can check it.

Lottery
Same idea as the Wheel. When a draw opens we publish the seed hash and the drand round. When sales close, the ticket list is sealed and its hash (entriesHash) is published, so no ticket can be added, removed or edited afterwards. The 5 numbers and the Powerball come from SHA256(serverSeed + drand). To check a draw, open the Lottery and tap the shield icon on it: you get the commitment and, after the draw, the revealed seed with an in-browser recomputation of the numbers.

Originals
Classic seed pair. Before each bet you see SHA256 of the server seed, your own client seed and the nonce. The result is HMAC-SHA256 of the three. Rotate the pair, the server seed is revealed, and you can replay any bet in the built-in checker on the fairness page. The exact formula for every game (Dice, Limbo, Plinko, Keno, Mines, Alien Road, HiLo, Blackjack, Star Bonanza) is published there, for example:
  • Dice: roll = floor(float x 10001) / 100, multiplier = 98 / chance
  • Limbo: result = max(1, floor(1e8 / (floor(float x 1e8) + 1) x 0.98 x 100) / 100)
  • Blackjack: unlimited deck, card i of the round is float i. Your moves decide who gets a card, never which card comes.
Crash
Crash is a shared round, so it works like the Wheel: before bets open we lock the server seed hash and pick a future drand round. The beacon arrives only after bets close, and together they set the crash point. Tap the shield icon in the game to open any round: algorithm, drand round, seed hash and, after the round ends, the revealed seed with an in-browser check of every step (seed matches hash, drand signature, combined randomness, crash point).

Limits: min bet 0.01, max bet 1,000 and max payout 10,000 per round (all your bets in the round count together). Each game shows its own limits under the (i) button.

■ FAQ

Q: Can you rig the Wheel?
No. The server seed is committed before betting, the drand round is fixed in advance, and the bet manifest is hashed. Change any of them and the verifier turns red.

Q: Why should I play PvP instead of a normal casino game?
The Wheel is a shared pot. Our cut is a fixed 3% fee, the same whether you win or lose. The rest of the pot goes to the winning ticket.

Q: What happens if only one person joins a round?
Under 2 unique players the round is cancelled and refunded.

Q: Are the originals provably fair too?
Yes. Server seed + your client seed + nonce, HMAC-SHA256. Rotate your seed pair and replay any bet on slicepot.com/fairness.

Q: Are you licensed?
No licence yet. Until then we're crypto-only, and every round is provably fair and verifiable, so you don't have to take our word for anything.

Welcome to the forum, SlicePot team.
Very detailed announcement thread. Granted, it doesn't look as extravagant as others, but all the necessary information is already in it - that's all that matters, really.
Looking forward to the campaign.  Wink

Tried the site with your $5 thing. Perhaps you need to change your wording, it's not 15x wager as you claim, it's over 100x.

And blackjack counts messily. After wagering is done, all you get is $5, even if your balance is higher. Even after getting that $5, there's another 3x wager on that amount, and lastly, KYC on withdrawal for just 10$ withdrawal

Welcome to the forum! Your topic is described in great detail and that's convenient since it gives a trustworthy impression right away. One question is that you list 21+ while most casinos I know of work with 18+ so what's the reason for that?

Tried the site with your $5 thing...

Thanks for actually testing it and posting the details, this is exactly the kind of feedback we asked for in the OP.

You're right that the OP didn't describe the welcome pack accurately, and that's on us. Point by point:

  • Extra 3x wager after conversion: that was a bug on our side, thanks for catching it. It's already fixed, the converted $5 has no further wagering.
  • It's a fixed $5, not your bonus balance. Whatever the bonus balance is when wagering is completed, the amount that converts is $5. It's free money with no deposit, meant for getting to know the platform, not for cashing out a bonus run.
  • Verification on withdrawal of welcome-pack funds: right now we're being hit by bot farms creating accounts only to claim the free $5 and cash it out. Verifying welcome-pack withdrawals is how we keep the pack available for real new players. It doesn't apply to your own deposits.
  • Wagering: the x15 ($75) is tracked in XP, and each game counts according to its house edge. Blackjack has the lowest edge on the site (0.57%), so it contributes the least per dollar, which is why playing it you saw a dollar wager far above $75. Higher-edge games like Dice, Limbo or the Wheel complete it with much less. The OP didn't explain this, and it should have, so that's now added.

Good question. The legal gambling age differs by country: 18 in most places, but 21 in several others. Since we're open to players from many countries, we use the stricter limit everywhere instead of adjusting it per country. It's a conservative choice on purpose: gambling is entertainment for adults, and we'd rather be on the safe side.

Makes sense but I'm curious how it fits with no KYC at signup. How do you plan to confirm a player's age in practice? Just trying to understand how it works on your side.

You already have a copper membership account but the presentation of this ANN thread does not look professional, no graphics with which the information would have been condensed for better comprehension. I suggest yiu high the services of people that specialises in making ANN thread, the fee is not much.

Is 100x dagger on $5 not a waste of time? Who is going to knowingly take that with the expectation of getting a withdrawal?

Welcome to the forum. Your casino has a very nice design, but I couldn't find the Terms of Service. The thread here states that the casino has no license, which implies that KYC won't be required for deposits, withdrawals, or gameplay though it also mentions that KYC may be requested if there’s a suspicion of multi-accounting. But why would anyone submit documents to an unlicensed casino? Operating without a license is effectively running an illegal casino; however, one might overlook that provided the casino doesn't ask for documentation.

Furthermore, I noticed that the account registration process doesn't ask for much information, meaning users likely don't provide accurate personal details when signing up. Given this, how does the casino intend to carry out KYC? Even if a user were to submit documents, how could the casino verify that the information on those documents matches the account, when no truthful or relevant data was provided during registration in the first place? I didn’t create an account at the casino to test it, which is why I’m asking.

On KYC, the short version: you never need to verify to deposit, play or withdraw your own money. The only place verification comes in is the free $5 welcome pack.

That pack is free money with no deposit, and right now bot farms are creating accounts only to claim it and cash it out. The check isn't about matching your registration details or knowing who you are. Its only purpose is to make sure one real person gets one welcome pack, instead of one farm getting hundreds.

So the choice is fully yours:
  • Don't want to share any documents? Skip the welcome pack, deposit and play. Nothing will ever be asked.
  • Want the free $5? Then we ask for a one-time check before that free money is withdrawn.

We know it's not ideal, and we'll relax it once the farm traffic is under control. Until then, this is the only way we found to keep the free $5 available for real players.

~

At signup we don't verify age with documents. Players confirm they are 21+ when they register and by accepting our ToS, and playing underage is a breach of those terms.

Where we do see documents, during the welcome-pack verification, age is checked too. And if we have reason to believe an account belongs to someone under 21, we close it.

That's the standard for crypto casinos without mandatory KYC. It's not a perfect filter, and we don't claim it is.

Everything about this casino seems to be appealing to the eye, and I hope they are really good to start in a more professional mode, as some have suggested. It is so interesting to see several casinos coming on board to this forum, and we can also see the massive turnout from the existing ones. What gamblers really need is trust and reliability to use their platform safely without any issues to complain about.

So the choice is fully yours:
  • Don't want to share any documents? Skip the welcome pack, deposit and play. Nothing will ever be asked.
  • Want the free $5? Then we ask for a one-time check before that free money is withdrawn.
Is there a way to cancel it if you already accepted the free $5? I already accepted it, but haven't used it yet.

Also, why is the link to the terms and conditions not shown on the webpage(or did I just miss it)? I can find the link to the provably fair page, but not the terms and conditions. I had to put https://slicepot.com/terms in the URL just to access the terms.

Anyway, looks like some gamblers are complaining about withdrawals and deposits not getting credited in your chat.

1. Yes, we can cancel Welcome pack, just PM me your registration data on the platform.

2. Thank you for your feedback, ToS are available during the registration but we will add it to the Menu with a next release.

Welcome to the forum.

Here's something I noticed, on your page I noticed that there is a part that is left static while only the down part is scrolling and that is making it a bit difficult to navigate through your site.

The area in the red box should scroll along with the entire page.

Welcome mate. I do look into gambling or game platforms before I get registered with them. What I actually look out for is their terms before doing anything so I don't get stucked. I checked to see if I can lay my hands on it but could not see it. That is a guide to how I would operate and navigate and also the rules governing your platform so how do I conveniently get registered when I have not read it?
Although a member here has provided the link to your terms but you still need to make it accessible on your website homepage so that potential players could be able to read it and know their stand before registering so that they will not face any difficulty on your platform.

-snip-

Welcome to the Bitcointalk forum SlicePot! It seems you have already done your homework and purchased the copper membership. But I would suggest you read the forum rules as well. Because you had been breaking rule number 32 (which is posting multiple replies in a row is prohibited). In that case, you should wait for someone else to make a comment or reply to multiple users at once (yeah you can do that as well).

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

Btw, since you say you are not yet licenced, then why would you ask for KYC with the suspected multi accounting (why KYC though?)? As I understand, multiple accounts can easily be detected by other means (like IP address, device fingerprints etc). Also, real multi account users can easily use their family members KYC data to pass your verifications, so I'm unable to understand the point here, KYC doesn't necessarily prevent multi accounting! Isn't the use of other means (ip and those) better here? CMIIW anywhere!  Sad

This may seem unusual but I think they have a good reason for it, I think they deliberately designed it this way because it's their main selling point.
Make it static to make players keep watching it while players are scrolling down the page, for me it is reasonable and while it is something new so players need to adapt with it.
