Nakita ko 'tong
lumang thread ni dkbit98 about SeedSigner and decided to build one.
First, kinakailangan na mayroon kang Coordinator app (isang watch-only wallet software) na either installed sa PC or smartphone. This could be Electrum, Sparrow, Spectre, Bluewallet, etc. - As long as kaya mag-import ng QR code and broadcast it, pupwede siguro.
Then, you just build the transaction sa Coordinator app mo, and sign it using SeedSigner.
NOTE: Every time na gagamitin mo itong SeedSigner, you need to input your seed phrase

- yep, I know - hassle, right? Why? - See below (Amnesia).
SeedQR - QR code ng seed phrase mo, SeedSigner can guide you on how to make one. So, instead of typing all 12/24 seed phrase sa device, scan mo na 'lang yung QR Code. Easy di ba?
May guide din sa kanilang GitHub repo on how to build your SeedQROnce the transaction is signed, scan mo 'lang ulit ang signed QR code gamit ang Coordinator app mo to finally broadcast it.
Again, ganito ang magiging workflow: Coordinator app (builds transaction - unsigned QR Code) -> SeedSigner (scans, signs the transaction and gives signed QR Code) -> Coordinator app (scans the signed QR Code and broadcasts the transaction).
May Amnesia.
Sa ganitong setup (using SeedSinger), the device will only use its RAM - the moment na na-unplug mo ito, lahat ng memory nito during that session is automatically wiped out.
Meaning, kahit pa nawala itong device at napulot ng iba, wala silang kahit anong info na makukuha dito 'cause it would only be a blank SeedSigner.

Another good thing about it is you can generate your own Seed Phrase - unlike most hardware wallets.
I think kaya rin mag-generate ng seed phrase and SeedSinger using its camera - haven't confirmed this yet.
Also, it supports a Passphrase (25th word) - you also need to manually input this every time gagamitin mo ang device.
(See images below)
* Raspberry Pi Zero
make sure na 240x240 pixels - may buttons na rin ito which you'll use to operate your device* 5MP OV5647 Camera Module
make sure na it's for Raspberry Pi Zero at 'yung may gold-colored cable.* micro-USB cable
Well - for now, Shopee, Lazada? IDK if sa mga big malls in the cities may mga nagbebenta nito. Most probably sa mga electronic stores - meron.
For me, right now, lahat ng inorder ko, shipped lahat from China.

Except sa SD card/cable - it's fine though, madali 'lang naman mai-check ang integrity ng hardware and since these parts are widely used sa kahit anong DIY projects, no one would suspect you're building it for a signing device.

As for the 3D-printed case, since wala akong 3D Printer, I'm currently asking some local 3d printing services if magkano ang gastos magpa-print ng case, btw, the files are available to download online for free if ever gusto nyo kayo mismo mag-print.
Sana all may 3D printerRiskSince nakasalalay sa Seed Phrase mo ang pag-move ng funds, you need to guard and secure it. If you use SeedQR - same thing, secure it 'cause if someone gets access to it, kaya nilang mailipat ang funds mo.
Solution? Add a passphrase or, better yet, use a multi-signature wallet setup.

NOTE: Hindi pa actually nabuo yung device since all the parts are still being shipped.

- will update this thread once buo na yung SeedSigner device ko.

So far, ang current total, including shipping fee, ay nasa 2,565 PHP (Raspberry Pi Zero, Waveshare 1.3-inch LCD HAT at OV5647 Camera Module). The other parts, mayroon na akong nakatambay dito.
Case? Wala. Well, I will probably order one if magkasundo kami sa price doon sa 3D printing service na napagtanungan ko.
NOTE: Wala akong mahanap na Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 sa Shopee, so I opted for the WH version (may wifi/bluetooth) - it's fine though. Yung SeedSigner may auto-disable siya sa mga features na 'yan when it's running, so the device remains air-gapped. Kung matapang ka naman, you can physically remove those -

https://github.com/SeedSignerFull tutorial on how to build it, nandito na mismo sa GitHub repo nilaSo, sa tingin 'nyo at that current total price, worth it ba?

Would you buy and build one if the parts are readily accessible? Also, may alam o kakilala ba kayong seller ng mga parts na 'to locally? Or may 3d printer?
Nagtanong ako sa Telegram group about this - walang sumagot
