To be sincere there are people who are basically comfortable with their basic income because they aren't attracted to much responsibility..
I would want to know, what are the things you should be doing to increase your income. I know that investment is one of the major thing to do, but aside from investment (Bitcoin investment or altcoin) what other investment you think can increase the income of someone or person as we know?
For me, I am not really comfortable with my basic income and I am looking for a way to expand it to make it flow In a bigger way. As we know, the inflation is really high and everyone is looking for an alternative to double their income so that they wouldn't be that so much affected by the inflation.

You have many options to chose from and invest into in order to expand your means of income. Looking around your most immediate environment to see what sells fast is your first priority if you’re considering doing a physical business and owning a shop or space to provide a service.

If that’s not your niche, there are many options available if you have a skill that you can render online, that can also add to your income. Investing into existing businesses is also a good way to earn money in this economy, this also helps to reduce the risk and the likelihood of facing some risk being faced as a beginner in any type of business.

If you want to grow your income invest more but don't just buy random shit. First of all, be aware of your country's taxation rules. For example; If you are not a US tax resident, buying US stocks might create lots of taxation problems which will end up eating away some of your profits. Sometimes picking stocks from your home country's stock market makes more sense than buying the S&P500, at least taxation-wise.

I would recommend a balanced income focused investment portfolio. REIT and/or Real Estate and Dividend stocks should be your income engine and add some gıvernment bonds too.

2- Get a second job...

The not-so-funny thing is that people who are not happy with their basic income are not the ones with enough money that they can set aside each month to invest in something that is both safe and at the same time, gives life-changing opportunities. A guy putting aside $2000 a month has a way easier choice than someone who can barely put aside the fees for an investment.

So without knowing a ton of variables from amounts to qualifications, it's hard to say anythign more than the basic buy BTC

Bro, it depends on your time, like how much time you have after giving time to your first job. If you can find overtime, then do it, or find another job if you can handle two shifts, but that means you will be working twice as much as you do now. If you don't want to work a job but want to start your own business, then you have to do your research because starting a business, either small or big, needs proper planning.

I would suggest you start freelancing. Because, bro, you can easily manage it on your own terms, so learn some skills that you can sell and earn in US dollars, and even in BTC if they pay.

As you are a Nigerian citizen, you can start up a POS business. You know how it is done; you charge money to give people fiat(naira).

Barbing, catering services, or laundry is another line of business that brings money to one's table if they can do it nicely. You can start it up or have someone doing it for you. Before you know it, you will be getting money regularly to balance your basic income, as it is no longer enough for you because of inflation

Well i like to bring up the fact that with each point or level of financial success a person reaches, their expenses will definitely increase which means they will have to be doing more than what they were doing before. and besides that doesn't change the fact that one's income being static doesn't mean the price of commodities will remain the same. In most cases surviving on one income is very much impossible to me.​That said investment isn't an income.the word invest is for long term growth, not short term gains, except you are talking about trading.best to say diversification is a good way to increase one's investments

Also, the markets are weird.

USD indeed loses its purchasing powa over time but then markets also crash every once in a while and people run to the dollar. I mean, if USD is so shit, why do people sell their stocks for the Dolla? That doesn't make sense but it happens all the time. The Nasdaq closed the Friday in red, -2.86%.

Anyway, I ain't telling anybody to buy only bonds... A basket of everything, a diversified asset portfolio is the way to go. You'll still need some cash to buy the dips during the market crashes and those bond coupons might become useful.

I am not sure if there is anyone comfortable with a specific income when we know expenses do not remain stagnant rather it increases on daily basis. For the fact that they don't show or make it obvious on their challenges doesn't mean they are comfortable but just tired of exposing themselves to others which is why they don't stop investing in anything that will generate capital for them.
Investment Apart from bitcoin depends of the environment we find ourselves,  if we are in a rural area where lands are affordable and with a fertile soil,  I think investing in agriculture is a very good option because it has higher turnover and doesn't require once personal strength as we can hire the services of experienced personnel to help achieve it. Apart from this, I think livestock farming is also preferable depending on choice and interest.

Investing should not be viewed as a substitute for your primary income or as an immediate solution to financial problems. Bitcoin is a potential means of building wealth in the long term. However it does not guarantee regular income. You need to set aside a portion of your current income for investment. Which will not put additional pressure on your daily or urgent needs.  Your first priority should be to develop a realistic way to generate supplementary income alongside your primary earnings. I also do not consider trading a simple or reliable method for generating extra income; while it offers the possibility of profit, the risk of losing your capital is significant. Engaging in trading without the necessary risk-management skills could leave you in a worse financial position. Focus on enhancing your earning capacity, and then, if your means allow, you may invest a portion of your surplus income into Bitcoin—without compromising your financial stability.

Have a physical business, like you can find one business that moves and is likely to have a representative instead of you to spend all you day or time in the physical location you can monitor the business through some devices that you can own, that alone with you basic income will keep you going having a return from the physical business and then your work including online jobs. All this idea is good and can help someone who is looking for another source of income but you need to consider that it is not easy to start up a business you need finance to do business and investment. In some cases some people don't even have their first job before they think of another means of income they need to find a stable job that will take care of their needs before they can think of something else. One source of income can sustain a man who is trying to survive but when the man wants something more then he should think of saving money to start up a new business so that while he is working, the business can also be bringing him money.

I need to understand the context to which you are asking, if you are talking about investment then you don't need to add it in correlation with basic income because they imply opposite. Investment are suppose to be ventures that yields profit over years but basic income is one that is needed for needs and best income generation suitable on the platform has to be trading, although not advisable.

But honestly even if you double your income, their still the tendency that that money won't be enough to even maintain that previous lifestyle because of inflation

I am assuming that you plan to hold Bitcoin for 4-10 years. If the price increases in the future, you may make a profit but if the price decreases, there is also a possibility of loss. Here, there is no daily income to meet your necessary expenses. Therefore, you should not rely on investment to increase your regular income.

To increase your income, you should increase your skills. So that you can get a better job. If you want, you can increase your income through small businesses as well as jobs. But investment will not give you daily income.

I think having a shop is one good option and another thing I would suggest is having online business. You can sell products or offer services online without necessarily having a physical store.

I believe having more than one source of income is a good way to grow financially if you’re not really impressed with what you earn as your basic salary.
