It's never be an game.... It's just a name ignorance.....
Well, today we have big adoption of Bitcoin all over the world and new people are just heading for each other to grab it as soon as possible. But the fact is that they never look his privacy frame work before jumping in for investment. And this is the reason behind it leik they underestimate they privacy and as results they store their funds on exchange but at last they got victim of such kind of act.....
Today is AI era and hacker can easily manipulate the security of everything and if you left any loops hole then probably it will be more thrilled moment for scammers.

I cannot say that hacking isn't the new game since we have been seeing hacks here and there. But honestly, this is one thing that we can't get rid of when we talk about crypto space. People are chasing cryptos, especially bitcoin, and hackers are no different. In fact, that's their craft and they will do everything just to steal our bitcoin while its value is incomparable. And the more aware we us that hackers are real and they do exist, the more we become protective with our bitcoin, and maybe that's a good thing for us.

Again, how do you trust the people that are being employed to work with most of the exchange or gambling site? What are the strategies to ensure that the staff they are hiring is trusted and can not compromised their duties or works, because it's always said that only those who are Inside that can know the way about the system.
Companies have their way of ensuring that they properly vet the Staffs that they employ and ensure that the Staffs they employ do not steal or leak information, also not to have too much access that they can easily steal information without being detected. Situations like this must have happened before that they learned from. Does it mean that no one can develop a stronger security measures to outsmart those hackers or does it mean that most of the hacks that is happening are from Insider?
It is not a one-time solution for hackers, because hackers are always working to exploit new loopholes as they come up. Cybersecurity experts need to be as active as that too to make sure they close vulnerabilities and detect hacks before they become havoc.

It is true that hackers who hack cannot be caught or identified, those who hack are not people from an alien world, so they can definitely be caught and identified. But if the law and order of the country is not normal, then it will never be possible to stop them, like the famous exchange Binance was hacked, it was done by North Korean hackers. But some money has been recovered from them, but of course they should be careful about their security. And those who are hired and developers should not be trusted because not everyone is the same, because the success that works here is not against truth and justice, they are the ones who are most likely to be hacked.

I have thought of where to make this post but didn't know the right section to post it. Although, I know that if there is a better place to make you could direct me to move it there. Back to my question, this year has seems to be the worst year for the crypto space, Duelbits hack, Binance hack, many more hacks that happened on the space. My question is: does it mean that no one can outsmart those hacker? Why is it that their major targets was on well know sites? Does it mean that no one can develop a stronger security measures to outsmart those hackers or does it mean that most of the hacks that is happening are from Insider? Or maybe someone who is already in the system are leaking out their information to hacker ?

We all know that the world is developing, so actually, hackers ain’t news anymore, they just became wiser just like we also do. Soo most times I’m not surprised about this hackers because people are talented enough to create and improve tech, and every individual chose their parts. It’s just them being smart and also deciding how to utilize it. One thing I know for sure is that a hacker needs information to make any hack a success. There no magic, one way or the other, the slightest information was passed and it was enough. Can anyone outsmart them? Yes! If they has their ways they would have hacked every single tech companies. So the fact that they have not, still leaves an evidence of work by someone smarter. You cannot always be sure of whom to Employ and who to trust. You just have to understand that you’re not done with a project just by completing it, you have to watch over it and be very observant about it. Be wise enough to know whom to keep and whom to terminate when circumstances arise. Own a code that only you knows. I don’t have to explain this.

I wouldn't say that it's a new game, as we have seen a lot of hacks before, even at the start of Bitcoin when Mt. Gox was hacked and still up to this day, we are still feeling the effects of it. But with the advancement of hackers and the used of AI, every service is vulnerable. As for the people you are hiring, I don't think that there will be answers as we really have to take their word up front and then see if they really fit the job. If they will, then we still don't know if they will have good intentions or maybe just there to steal. Even in banks we have seen this kind of trend wherein the teller took the money of their depositors until the bank later discovered it. And usually NDA are signed before you gets hired, but it's no longer effective. And then North Korea's might have the ability to insert someone inside any exchanges without notice or any hacking group for that matter and starts to get the info and everything to breach them.

These hackers could have one leaderboard somewhere where they rank themselves with their cybernames with points based on the platforms they have hacked, and the difficulty level. I think this is possible because for some people at some level of skill, their motivation goes beyond money, it could now be for reputation amongst a certain audience and this could be one. I mean if they want just money, there are other platforms they could target and hack more easily than exchanges right?

AI exposing vulnerabilities has been pretty rough on crypto companies so far. I have a feeling we aren't done yet either. I just hope that Coinbase doesn't get hacked. Someone stealing all of the ETF and Strategy Bitcoin would be an event that I'm not sure Bitcoin could recover completely from.
AI is breaking all of the things faster than I am comfortable with, but it needed to happen. I can only imagine the sort of things in store for DeFi in the future. Let us hope we all get lucky and navigate these hacks well.

In this tech world you are more powerful if you are knowledgeable when it comes with tech related such us network, cyber security, and programming so now other hackers have different intentions depends on what kind of hat they are. Now if you are a well known platform of course you wanted to build a security that you are feel safe but sometimes people made mistakes and lapses so sometimes they get a vulnerabilities with their system. Now its your teams job to make sure that you will make sure you are up to these updates to avoid problem but sometimes there are really skilled people over than them. Sometimes most of the attacks happens with the employees so they can get inside the network and makes an access with all of the credentials. Most of the company right now always conducting phishing alerts or security training for their employees so they are aware for the possible attacks.

The only way to move forward is fix what is broken and reiterate. These hacks are telling me more about security weakness more than the hacker doing sophisticated thing. Good amount of these hacks were pulled off through social engineering especially the high profile ones. But, I kinda formed a pattern on all these hacking cases, the engineer always got easily fished by fake job interviews. Working in Binance, I bet their salary is pretty high, especially as someone who got authorization to access something as crucial as the hot wallet, they probably make 300k a year and still don't feel enough.

I wouldn't say its the new game, hackers has been hacking cryptos from the start, and is something that will stay just like that. Hackers will not stop because there is always a vulnerability to chace and just like we saw in the past 10 days, first coinbase and then basil. So, to have secure systems is a task for the services providers. Those who don't take it seriously will be vulnerable.
And nowadays with the AI we will see hacks often. You can be sure of that.

I didn't have to hack anything to discover you control all the NastyFans addresses, just create a tool, I can only imagine how uncomfortable that is - you've been lying to everyone here for a decade. I wouldn't say its the new game, hackers has been hacking cryptos from the start, and is something that will stay just like that.
The thing that bothers me most about crypto theft is the victim can then be scammed again by someone claiming they can recover their coins. Facebook and Reddit are full of these scams - it's going to take a lot of work to get the word out - you can recover your bitcoin losses legally.

It is extremely difficult to answer your question: how can we trust the people who are hired to work on most trading platforms or gambling sites? While there are standards in this industry, they are not foolproof; an employee could be cunning enough to circumvent all of these safeguards.
It is also possible that the employee is honest but then changes for one reason or another, and the leak may not be intentional on his part but rather the result of a small mistake or human weakness, or the result of temptation with money, or the result of a threat or deception by hackers through social engineering. There are many reasons and possibilities.

Let me answer your questions in order, from top to bottom : 1. Nothing can stop hackers, because they're everywhere. In fact, a country with totalitarian authoritarian governments actually protect their hackers. So, nothing can stop them. Cybersecurity professionals can only maintain their security systems meticulously; to prevent them from being easily attacked, and to quickly close security vulnerabilities when discovered. 2. The goal is simply profit, because hackers can make a lot of money from these sites. Not all well-known sites are affected; most sites attacked by hackers are those with significant revenue, or whose data they can exploit for profit. 3. Typically, companies will hire experienced cybersecurity personnel (I ever seen, that it at least four years of experience required), and possess strong skills in their respective fields. Whether it is experience in crypto security, cryptography, or other skills. Btw, I don't know how HR or recruitment agencies test for this during interviews.

This binance hacking that happened on Thursday is not the first time the crypto exchange point have been under attack and may not even be the last because as the their is advancement in all aspects same also should we expect such news, although am sure binance will close the gap and such won't repeat itself again.
Many popular and secure exchange sites have been hacked before and are still going on. However, I did not expect Binance to be hacked because we have known for a long time that Binance Exchange's security system is very good compared to other exchanges, but hackers have proven our idea wrong. As technology improves, the exchange sites are using the same technology in the same way, but hackers are using the same technology badly, due to which even after improving the security system, hackers are breaking that security system and causing such unfortunate incidents. Statistically looking at the lost of capital experienced over the years, you will realize that it is not only in the crypto world all this are happening it also happens in the traditional banking institutions and there's appears worst because most customers losses there money because the banks finds ot difficult repaying them except the government chooses to intervene on the matter but that of the crypto world is different as the exchange institutions repays investors to maintain there integrity.
In the years 2015 2016 2018, we came to know about several hacking incidents. Among them, the most notable incident was the most discussed cyber hacking of the Central Bank of Bangladesh. In this hacking, hackers tried to steal about one billion dollars from the Central Bank of Bangladesh, although in the end they were able to successfully steal 80 million dollars from the bank and Bangladesh Bank has not been able to recover that money till now. Many more such incidents have happened through hackers. Yes, it is certain that such incidents do not only happen with crypto exchanges but also with big banks of different countries regularly.

That means hackers knows better about security and find the bug for their benefit. It is a challenge for exchanges or casinos and other services to always manage their security and monitor and also prevent it the incoming attack.
The developer cares about the platform and always update it but the hackers seems know searching for the bug. That makes us see many hacking happens to the third services.
We could only believe to them because we use their services but we have a choice to select the right for us. It is a job for third services to be more selective to accept their workers and only choose those who have ability.

Preparing for the worse and hopeful for the best has always been the standard for those keeping their asset or holding in centralized exchange jack is never a new thing in the crypto system despite not spending quality of years but have read many update and information about keeping one holding in centralized exchange it's danger apart from biance some centralized exchange are once some twice hack before now , it's advisable to act in every vital information regarding security mostly if your Bitcoin holder who target is long time to utilize cold wallet, or self custodian where absence of middle men could be much access like the opened market like centralized, those who are doing daily trading is having that mindset of leaving their asset in centralized exchange not holder that will stay with 10year above such decision is too risky to take.

Even though we can't totally remove the possibility of insiders leaking information outside, With the view to helping hacks more successful. I don't think that these hackers actually rily on insider information to carry out their activities, the truth is that these hackers have advanced cracking tool which most people believe is from the dark web. We should not try to defuse this matter to in-house sabotage because that is not likely to happen because we have seen several exchanges been hacked this year. I believe that before someone is employed such a person will be critical scrutinized before been employed. There is one thing that we are forgetting in this whole hacking stuff that is going on, and that is almost all the Exchanges that has been hacked has some security lopeholes which the hackers use in penetrating.

Security is currently being strengthened for those services that managed to survive the hack without losing their reputation. I don't really understand why whales are withdrawing such huge sums of money from Binance, because Binance hasn't lost face. Yes, the method they were hacked was incredibly ridiculous and stupid. But CZ was able to fully restore all user assets. I'm sure the exchange has undergone numerous internal audits since then, making it even more secure. But the fact remains: all crypto services are now being tested through AI hacks.

Yes, such incidents have been happening since the beginning of Bitcoin, it is not surprising that hacking incidents are not new today. But we must learn to deal with this situation, because we have to strengthen our minds and move forward patiently towards the future. In this current situation, the price of Bitcoin is within the normal level, so in this situation, if we can take more opportunities to buy Bitcoin, then this will be the best. Rather, we should focus on buying Bitcoin, not panic, in these difficult times, those who hold on to Bitcoin will be the best.
