TL;DR: If your UniSat / Xverse / ordinals wallet shows part of your BTC as
"unavailable" and the Send screen won't let you move it, this is because those sats are sitting in UTXOs that carry an inscription or a rune. This is a small, free, non-custodial web tool that builds the sweep transaction for you.
You sign it yourself in your own wallet, keys never leave your machine.
The problemOrdinals-aware wallets (UniSat, Xverse, etc.) deliberately
lock any UTXO that contains an inscription or a rune so you don't accidentally spend a collectible as plain fees. The side effect: the plain BTC value locked inside those outputs (often hundreds of tiny dust UTXOs left over from drop farming, minting and trading) shows up as
"unavailable balance" and the normal Send button simply won't touch it.
So you can see the coins, they're yours, but the wallet UI won't let you move them. For a lot of people who farmed the UniSat airdrop or minted runes, that's a real amount of BTC frozen in plain sight.
Why it's annoying to fix by handIt
is possible to do yourself. Nobody's claiming otherwise. But in practice you have to:
- enumerate every locked UTXO on your address,
- build a raw transaction / PSBT that spends them,
- order the inscribed inputs correctly so you don't burn a collectible into the miner fee or into the wrong output,
- and get your wallet to sign a PSBT it normally refuses to build.
Across dozens or hundreds of dust outputs that's fiddly and easy to get wrong. This tool just automates that assembly.
What the tool does- You connect your wallet (UniSat et al.) in read-only mode: it just reads your address and public key.
- It scans your UTXOs, separates inscription/rune outputs from plain dust, and builds the sweep PSBT.
- Two modes: consolidate the plain BTC within your own wallet (inscriptions/runes are kept segregated in one output), or sweep everything to an external address of your choice (e.g. an exchange deposit address).
- Your wallet shows you the transaction and you sign it. The signed tx is broadcast. That's it.
Trust and safety- Non-custodial. The site never sees, stores or transmits your seed or private key. It only ever receives a signature your own wallet produced.
- Nothing is auto-sent. You review the outputs and amounts in your wallet before signing.
- You can point the output to any address you control, so the coins go straight to you.

CostA service fee of 17% of the recovered amount is taken as one output in the same transaction. You see it in your wallet before you sign, and it only applies if the sweep actually nets you coins above dust. Miner fee is whatever the network rate is at the time. If you're comfortable building PSBTs yourself, you don't need this. It's for people who want it done in a couple of clicks without touching raw transactions.

github.com/OculusMans/sat-rescueHappy to answer technical questions in the thread: how the input ordering keeps inscriptions out of the fee/change outputs, how the PSBT is built, anything. Feedback welcome.
