We are in November already, the poll will close in three months. It will run for 90 days. You can change vote if your trading net PnL becomes positive before the end of this year.

What lessons did you learn from trading that you do not want to make next year? What are your advice to newbie traders?

Let me just keep this short and simple as it is.

I voted for the "little loss" option from the above poll.
I have not much to say at this point, but my little advice to the newbies is to consider the trading space a piece of cake, haha; they should not rely on other shared signals and should understand the importance of doing their own research. And they also need to correct their way of thinking that they will always earn in the trading space and will become rich in a short time frame. The trading space requires extensive research and dedicated time, and it is not as easy as it looks. Do you agree?

Aside from this, I would also like to ask the same question you asked others in the poll: what is your PNL? And what option did you choose from the above? You are free not to disclose too much if you are not comfortable, but hint us little about this.

I would rather say "what mistakes did I make in trading that I do not want to make next year".

Well, for me, this year, I did not invest as much time and energy in trading like I did in previous years, I focused more on investing, and this were basically short to medium term investments in various altcoins while I maintained my long term investment on bitcoin, and so far so good, I have no regrets, I made quite a good amount in profit which I somehow believe I wouldn't have made if I had focused more on trading, not very sure actually but doesn't matter really, what matters is, profits, and not loses, were made.

And I hope to use this same strategy come next year, and possibly achieve even much better results, newbies are free to try but this is not a financial advice.

Although I know a little about crypto currency and crypto trading, I still don't have a good experience in trading. I still consider myself a newbie in trading because when I have to trade, I have to trade with assumptions. If I have to trade with assumptions, there is not much difference between me and a newbie, but from the experience I have, I will say that if you want to trade, you must be patient, you cannot be overly emotional and you cannot be too greedy.

It is very good that you consider yourself as a newbie, trading without technical and fundamental analyses but with just assumptions only means that you are a newbie in trading. But like I have always posted, many of the traders are not newbies but they continue to trade and they are losing. When it comes to profit and loss, some traders are still newbies despite that they have spent years in trading.

Manage to get a decent profit ever since the Bitcoin dip on the 60K level which is my average buying price on my DCA. I limit my altcoin investment which should give more profit if I just follow my portfolio plan.

Nevertheless, I have a good run this year and planning to invest some of those profit on solar system setup in preparation for El Niño my country to save money from electricity that I will use to DCA again with Bitcoin next year.

What lessons did you learn from trading that you do not want to make next year? What are your advice to newbie traders?
If I have learn one thing about trading this year, it is about trading too frequently, even when their is no clear reason to enter the market.

I have learnt that trading like a hunter is the best. It is a pattern where you will wait, wait and wait until a money making opportunity comes, that is when I started making progress, that's why I believe that trading is 90% patience and 10% execution, because without being patience when trading, you will never be profitable in the market.

My advice to newbies traders is very simple, which is they should pay more attention to their greed level and use it to their advantage, because greed is very important in trading, because if you are not greedy, you cannot make serious money in the market, because you will only be running away with little profit when you would have made a lot of money, if you had waited a little longer, so it's only when you are greedy you can make big profit in the market, that can change your financial situation. So my advice is that they should not see greed as a bad component, but they should use it properly, not in excess.

Let me just keep this short and simple as it is.
As for mistakes I don't want to repeat when trading next year—well, not next year, really. From now on, there are only a few mistakes I don't want to repeat. I don't want to be a careless trader who can't control my emotions. Honestly, these two things often lead to losses in trading. So, with that in mind, I hope I won't make those mistakes again in future trades. As for advice, I think my experience with my mistakes can also be helpful for beginners in trading.

The bottom line is that trading is incredibly brutal. We must be able to manage our emotions, our accuracy, and our capital. If we don't manage these three points well, we could potentially lose. So, stay calm and don't be tempted to feel like you have to get rich quick from trading. Don't be like that. For me, trading is like a marathon; you have to divide your stamina over a long period of time. Likewise, with trading, we must be able to manage our risk better.

I guess you are an investor and not a trader with what you posted.

Nevertheless, I have a good run this year and planning to invest some of those profit on solar system setup in preparation for El Niño my country to save money from electricity that I will use to DCA again with Bitcoin next year.
I saw something like this on YouTube recently and I thought to myself if some people do not know what investments are. If you invest on something, you will be expecting profit, but solar system to power houses are not investment.

Did you make money from trading this year?
Nope, and I don't think that I will TBH. We don't know though.

I've lost money in the first half of the year and since then, I stopped trading already for personal reasons that affected me financially, and I haven't had any spare funds for trading. It's just this month that I got some spare money where I can use it for trading, and I'm making small profits currently. Not life-changing money though, but I see progress. Smiley I don't think that I can make it to breakeven until the end of the year though or at least make some profits.

What lessons did you learn from trading that you do not want to make next year? What are your advice to newbie traders?

Let me just keep this short and simple as it is.
I've said this in the past with other users here, but TBH, it really is hard to implement it to myself.
Self-awareness.

Being aware of the emotions that you have while you're trading really could affect your decision-making. Unfortunately there are times where I'm not aware and because of that, I'm making some trades that are way beyond the intended risk that I usually put. Learning how to be self-aware even more of my emotions is my primary goal throughout the end of the year and possibly next year. I know that I have some of the good traits already. Being patient, knowing how to manage risk, and some more. Being disciplined and self-aware is the 2 that I haven't fully master.

Advice to newbie traders? Expect to lose on your first deposit, and second deposit, and maybe on your third deposit because that's how trading is. What matters is the experience that you gain and the knowledge that you get while trading. Trading is hard, but it's not impossible to become successful.

Well I started since January to take a DCA strategy with the Bitcoin and other alts of course, so far so good im currently up ~14% in this market, with Bitcoin's current price of 80.9k USD so far looking forward to be at least 50% by the next year or even end of the year will still accumulate more bitcoin as possible before the halving starts. When it comes to future's get tired with the market recently focusing with scalp and swing trades only.

So far I only get little profits but I don't know how the result till the end of the year. I still tried to make more profits but it seems that is not easy because the market still waiting for something.

The lesson I learned from trading still controlling emotion because this is the biggest problem that I need to solve.

To newbie traders, don't underestimate your emotions because that can affect to your trade and ruins your plan.

Be careful and try to take a break after trading for some hours. Don't force yourself chasing the win especially if you tired.
