There's this Nigerians popular saying that, "who life has favoured, will think that every poor person is not trying." Meaning that people who have enjoyed good opportunities and experienced financial stability sometimes assumes that every other struggling person has access to the same opportunities that they had. They assume that those struggling people were just lazy, meanwhile that's not the case. But I think that such mindset is common among some people, privilege can make them underestimate the struggles of others.
A lazy rich person is probably someone that just inherited the wealth from someone else that have worked so hard for it and took years of continuous effort to build their empire, when a lazy son, grandson or a lazy anyone inherit such wealth, they might still end up to squander the money and go broke.
My brother you don finish work with this your parable wey say who life favour go think say others no dy try. I dy talk am every day say most of the things we dy enjoy today na God's love and favour, because I don see more intelligent people struggling, while those people wey been dy do badly during school days doing more better in life.
Poverty na the reward for laziness, but in a country like Naija wey work no dy, no be good thing to see all poor people as lazy people because them no even see opportunity to do any kind of work, and even though them see, na work wey no go fit feed them well, so I agree with you say no be all poor people lazy.
