NEBULA (NBL): an open-source Bitcoin-style blockchain in Python

Hi, I'm Rahmat, a solo developer from Kabul. NEBULA is an experimental proof-of-work blockchain I wrote in Python. I am looking for developers to run it and review the code.

Honest status
  • Pre-launch. Test network only: test coins have NO value.
  • No independent audit yet. Do not put real money in.
  • No public testnet or seed nodes yet. Everything runs locally (regtest).

Technical features
  • SHA-256d proof of work, UTXO model
  • P2PKH, P2SH and multisig transactions
  • BIP39/32/44 wallets (path m/44'/2025'/0'/0/n)
  • LWMA difficulty adjustment per block (window 60)
  • TLS peer-to-peer layer
  • Language: Python, license: MIT

Economics
  • Max supply: 21,000,000 NBL
  • Block reward: 50 NBL, halving every 210,000 blocks, 10-minute target
  • 100% of block rewards go to miners. No foundation cut, no dev tax.
  • Genesis premine: 1,035,000 NBL (about 4.9% of max supply). It is not hidden: it is in the genesis block and checked by a public test script.

Verify it yourself (about 5 minutes)
Code:
git clone https://github.com/rahmatullahvibenet-sketch/nebula-blockchain
cd nebula-blockchain
python3 tests/test_genesis_premine_v1025.py   # 18/18 checks
python3 tests/test_lwma_v1025.py              # 22/22 checks
The README also shows how to create a wallet and mine test blocks on your own machine.

What I need
Review of the consensus code, the LWMA difficulty algorithm and the genesis/premine logic. Bug reports and criticism are very welcome, please post here or open a GitHub issue.
