Welcome offer/bonus usually refers to deposit bonus and/or free spins but it comes with big rollover, so I dont care about any welcome offer.
I prefer to see VIP program system where bonuses are given based on my gambling activity such as rakeback, lossback which usually combined into bonuses namely daily, weekly, monthly bonus.
Of course I will also consider welcome bonus as long as it comes with reasonable terms such as lower rollover.
All in all, it depends on the full terms of the offered bonuses, not depending on what kind of bonuses (based on its name/label) only.

What you need to understand is that there bonus hunters who have more than enough reasons to choose a new brand over an established platform.  Personally, I won't chose a new brand simply because they offer a welcome bonus, even if I decide to try out new projects I do so to see how they operate, not because of the welcome bonus they offer.  Many bettors fall prey to scam projects because of bonus hunting, as they allow attractive offers to cloud their judgements, instead of taking the time to verify the platform's credibility.

Signing up because of bonus is not bad, besides, casino uses it to attract more player's to their platform and it is a strategic means of advertisement by casino's but however, if you are really playing for fun, bonus should not or would not be your priorities when getting registered on a casino platform. Personally, I don't like all these bonuses at all because they're not designed to actually win anything in the game. And this is only because these bonuses have incredibly high wagering requirements. You are correct, Bonus is one of the reasons why gamblers decides to go for new casinos, as a new casino if you are not offering or giving bonus to people, you will not have customers and you will just go out of business. Bonus is a strategy that every casino must use, especially if you are a new casino.

The competition is high for casinos these days. So most likely there may be other casinos giving out freebies to players which is going to push attention to them. How they became attracted to try if they don't are not offering a welcome bonus? For sure I might not see them worth it to try, then would just go on a casino offering great bonuses. Since this encourage gambler to try them and somehow adds some entertainment.

If the casino has honest verified positive feedback from other gamblers, that's more than enough for me. Yes why not, mostly I place my bets for sports so bonuses are not something that I'm looking for, right now most casino bonuses are not that tempting tho especially with high wager requirement make me instantly "nah that's not for me". If there's a freebet promotion I will consider to get that promotion but I will read carefully the T&C, even if I won with the freebet but they applied high wagering for that I will skip immediately.

So in short, sports betting is a must except they have really good promotion for their slots game.

For me, welcome bonuses aren’t a big deal in fact, most of the casinos I’ve tried don’t offer welcome bonuses at all. On average, they only provide weekly bonuses based on my losses from the previous week. What matters most to me is that the casino is licensed, has a good reputation, has a proven track record of paying out, and is able to respond quickly to user complaints.
However, when it comes to competition, casinos that offer plenty of bonuses are certainly more likely to attract a larger user base.
