Anyone that have gambled for long won’t pay so much attention to welcome bonus, to me it shouldn’t be a yardstick to measure the integrity of a casino, what i look out for is the reviews, payout time and if the interphase is user friendly, i normally see welcome bonuses as distractions, bonus is free money, and one thing about free money is that you will end up not using it well since you didn’t struggle for it, it will even change your bet options at times and before you know it, you will leave the original game you wanted to play and book the wrong one that you will end up losing.

There are things that I think should be considered important when choosing or before using any casino which bonus should be the least. If a casino has good reputation and they don't have history of delaying withdrawal after winning, I would gladly choose the casino even if they are not offering welcome bonuses. The bonuses that casino offers is just to attract customers and people usually neglect to check out for the most important things because of this bonus. So like I said earlier, if a brand new casino has a good reputation even with zero bonus I will still choose them because this matters more than any bonus.

Reputation is very important, but old gambling sites are the ones having the reputation, not the new gambling sites. This is what was asked on the topic of this thread:

Let us assume that it is a new gambling site, so reputation can be the least that can be considered, but bad reputation is what people can use to avoid any gambling site.

If the gambling sites have bonuses, it can help the gambling site, but with good reputation also.

Most of the casinos that are new that I have signed up without no welcome offer have been on the forum. It is is rare to see that.
It would also be strange to see a new casino with no sort of bonus... that would be their undoing. They would automatically lose their competitive edge.
And to put it straight having a welcome bonus or not having a welcome bonus doesn't make or not make that casino a reputable one.
If they don't have a welcome bonus, then they must have something else that would compel folks to sign up on their platform.

Many sites offer nothing when opening an account, and I couldn't care less. Even if you get something it requires a deposit with often enough ridiculous wager requirements for 30x and more, basically guaranteeing you will lose all of your deposit and bonus unless you get very lucky.
For that reason, even when a site offers a bonus, I pretty much always decline it since it's a waste of time and not worth spending your money on. Rather just play, get other rewards for that and maintain the possibility to withdraw whenever you want, because when you have a bonus most sites won't let you get your money unless you finish the wager requirement or cancel the bonus.

Personally, I would choose it, as I’m not a big fan of welcome bonuses given my playstyle, I always end up losing when I use them, and I simply don’t have the patience to meet all the requirements they impose. I see no reason to rule it out entirely; it just happens to suit my preferences.

However, I would discard it completely if it prevented me from making withdrawals, or if the withdrawal process were handled manually. In that case, I’d drop it for good and never return to me, that’s a major red flag suggesting something isn’t right with the site.

Who cares about bonuses? For me, much bonuses seem like a trap sign and a signal that they aren't trust worthy. Bonuses that they give and also give some high standard conditions added to it for it's usage and withdrawals eventually if you win? Those are all nonsense for me.

It's not bad if you get one or two times bonuses for trials anyways, but I don't look out for it, because I don't trust it. I like it when I do it myself, I mean getting some deposit on and try something new if I wish. But depending a bonuses from new casinos as a means of there quality or to verify them holds no water for me.

Its all about priorities, and priorities between gamblers is subjective, and what I mean by this is that often times, what a gambler places priority on could or can be different from what another fellow gambler choose to do same on.
For example, my kind of person places little to no value on casino bonuses, so, it is very possible for me to sign up on a new casino and start gambling there even without being offered any sign-up or first deposit bonus like most new casinos would, all that matters to me is attraction.

But I perfectly understand that some or even most gamblers out there cant or may never be attracted to a new casino outside being offered a kind of bonus or something.

I cannot decide it use useasino based on the bonus they are offering, when all I needed to do is to first run a check on their reputation and see how reliable they are in gambling services, check for users experience on their platform and also check some other reviews online to know how reputable they are, bonus is just by the way and added advantage for anyone to have an instance of where to start from the casino, you can always gamble as long as you have your money to do so without depending ona  bonus hunt.

It doesn't really sound right when you call the bonuses and promotions "free stuff" because those are not free stuff, you get them for making a deposit, and, they come with their own terms and conditions, and free stuff would not have any terms and conditions, once you got it, it's totally yours, but that's not really the case with casino bonuses and promotions. You get a deposit match or even 200% of your initial deposit, but that doesn't mean you deposited $100 and now you have $300 which sounds great, but the strings attached to that doesn't really make it that awesome since without that 200% bonus, you would only need to complete $200 as the total wager to be able to make a withdrawal, but now you will have to complete a whooping $3,000, or maybe even higher.

Think of it this way, you deposit $100, start playing some game, and boom, you manage to get a good win, and now you have more than $1,000 maybe in your balance, and all you have to do is complete the 1x or 2x wager that the casino asks for with a normal deposit, and you can go ahead and make a withdrawal. On the other hand, if you have availed a 200% bonus, you have $300 to begin with, and you manage to get a big win as well, but then you realize you can't withdraw anything until you complete a 30x or maybe a higher wagering requirement, and while trying to achieve that, you may lose everything you had won earlier because it's gambling, you can't expect to keep winning all the time.

So for me, no bonus is not a bad thing in general, I'm not a big fan of bonuses and promotions, to be honest.

Because just seeing large bonus doesn't automatically make it good deal.

Just because any established casino offers me sign up bonus, I see no reason to automatically rule out any new casino.
If any new operator can truly offer better RTP, reasonable wagering requirement, transparent terms and reliable withdrawal then for me those represent significant advantage.

Most players rarely make withdrawals from their welcome bonus or first deposit bonuses because of the crazy conditions that come with them but despite this, people still chase these bonuses. I have learnt to focus or bettwr things than these bonuses because those are what matters. Welcome bonus are just a distraction from my own option because they make you to forget about the main things that you are suppose to be looking for before making use of a casino. They are now using this bonus to make you get attracted and then you get stuck using them because they have made you so addicted to their casino. I do not like when I have to meet a certain criteria with a bonus being given to me  so I do not like bonus but rather prefer I gamble with my own money that I have control over how to bet and how much I have to wager. Asides from prioritizing bonuses you also need to put somethings into consideration as well, there are lots of things that makes up a reputable casino and it goes beyond only bonuses but also other things like customer care service, fast withdrawals and a lot of other things. I believe that majority of us here never chase for the bonuses anymore after experiencing with the past casinos we've used that they ask for a lot of requirements to become eligible for it. So after knowing those conditions, it has discouraged many of us not to chase and pursue it anymore. But, we'll gamble in a casino that we like and we'll look at them for the other factors they have which we like. And that's the typical customer support, speed of withdrawals like the common ones we look for and we're totally okay with that even if the the notif keeps popping out about their rewards.
