For me this is a good thing since although it's just them buying that was reported, it already adds some confidence to people not to feel too much fear despite the recent hacks happening. After all, these things will eventually calm down, and people will eventually buy again but those who buy during the time when others are fearful, instead of losing their confidence in Bitcoin, are the ones that will benefit in this kind of market.
Companies like Strategy are really good at reading the psychology of investors out there and thinking outside the box. That all cannot be separated from Saylor in putting himself ahead of any bitcoin investor. Imo this buying Strategy is pretty good because the remaining supply of bitcoin continues to be controlled by them rather than having to be taken by hackers.

I'm sharing to try to calm those who are panicking.

Not bad, but those that are panicking won't calm unless they do more research that will help them gain a better knowledge of what it takes to be successful as a long term holder. I read another thread yesterday about a company that have plans of selling because they are scared of the hack that is happening, but I doubt that they will even sell, some of them just want to create more FUD so that some weak hands will end up selling. It's those that doesn't do research on their own that will end up selling because of the rumours they must have heard.

Search more and learn more are very good because it brings more knowledge which is good foundation to survive in this volatile market with a lot of fuds but people still need another important thing. They must have experience in this market by themselves so to reduce chance of getting fearful and panic with uncontrolled and emotional actions, they must avoid trading, and focus on investment.

Of course they must prepare their finance well and have good risk and investment capital management. They must learn about it, then try to practice rightly but it's vital to learn about fuds.

Those that panic sell fall for the market sentiment that could have been a psychological tactic to manipulate them into selling in the first place. This fear and rush to sell off is where a predator actor like microstrategy with larger capital take advantage of the situation to accumulate these asset cheaply.

People who sell out of fear create mispricing that a company like microstrategy capitalize on and that's how asymmetric upside is captured in the long game.

So that's why I agree that with more research and knowledge, retail investors won't fall prey to such fear tactics and sell off our of panic but find better ways to secure their asset mostly in these times where hacking has become on the rise.

While some sold their Bitcoins due to the recent hacks, Strategy continues to be aggressive with buying, adding another 811 BTC worth $65.5 million.

According to the report,
Quote
Strategy now holds a total of 849,327 BTC, with a total purchase cost of around $64.08 billion and an average buying price of $75,451 per BTC. At the reported market value of around $65.26 billion, they are still sitting on an unrealized profit of approximately $1.18 billion or 1.84%

There is no profit with panic selling, and many people still haven't realized that or maybe they are not in total control of their emotions. During the bear season is the best time for more accumulation, not a period where fear should set in. What time is best to accumulate bitcoin if not during bear seasons?

Bitcoin has experienced some drastic marlet sentiments recently but it's price has not gone below the $50k margin so I would say that it has handled it better than I would have imagined. That's enough reason to trust in bitcoin the more, this phase is not a phase where fear should be a stumbling block to potential future benefits.

Not really
Their purchases has fallen ever since they started making STRC a priority to get it to par
Check prior purchases especially around last year or earlier this year and you'd see they been careful.

There wasn't much sell off since people had faith that since its binance it won't hurt them much
And if someone needs a firm like strategy that engages in his supposed infinite glitch to buy bitcoin
To boost their confidence due to an hack on an exchange
It shows they don't really understand why they chose to hold bitcoin.

After what happened to Binance it's expected that a lot of people would see reasons to move their coins to a more secured wallet for self-custody even some traders keeping their rewards their might also consider same but one thing is certain that situations like these mostly lead to panic selling even though the dump isn’t much but whales are always hanging around seeking opportunities to buy more and that’s what strategy did.

Price of Bitcoin was already on downfall before the hack of Binance and I don't think there is much depreciation in price of Bitcoin due to recent Binance hack. I do agree to your point that whales are always there to take advantage of the panic because that allows them to buy Bitcoin at discounted price while others fear to buy. Seeing the current price pattern of Bitcoin there is likelihood that price may once again fall below 70k and if that happens then it will be a good buying opportunity.

Why don't you mention if they're accumulating 65m worth of bitcoin averagely at 81k each? Strategy is still buying it, but it's always on the top. When the price is pumping, the buy more, but when the price is dipping they buy less.

If they're still doing this, their average price of accumulation is slowly going up. It's just another "sunken cost" by saylor's company. I can't really tell you it's a smart idea.  I also admit saylor has more balls than me by buying at the local top.

I'm also wondering why are you also calling it good thing because the fact it's going opposite to the basic theory of trader to always buy at bottom and sell at the top.  Roll Eyes

So you can't really argue Saylor bought at people's fear due to the binance hack because majority of his accumulation was before the hack happened.

They can afford to buy more and more because they
1. Have the money to do so. That is a big organization.
2. Know that the perfect time to buy is in the period when there is panic.
3. They kinda know that those who have the largest number of bitcoins will even be able to determine/control the market in the future.
